To think it should be mandatory that dogs wear shorts to cover their genitals in public?

I love dogs. There's a dalmatian near me that brings me true joy during the school run 🥰

But now that I've admired your dog from my car, got my dopamine hit, I am now faced with the task of avoiding glancing at its testicles and therefore being mildly grossed out during the rest of my journey.

In 2025, I shouldn't be forced to see a dogs genitals!

Time to introduce 'dog boxer shorts' so I can go about my day in peace! Someone needs to get onto Kier Starmer, honestly.

I hadn't really thought about balls but I really do hate dog's visible bumholes. Huskies, pugs, oh no, yuk. Especially when you see their owner carrying a bag of shit. Shitty bumhole right there🤑

Interesting. The dog needs to be supported in wearing whatever clothing and accessories he/she/they feel comfortable with.
I would look up support groups in your neighbourhood.

Take my money! I have a long haired breed, who unfortunately has alopecia. She wears a fleece jumper to keep her warm but it doesn’t cover her bum. She gets proper spooked on a breezy day by a cold gust on her bare buttocks. I think she’d really appreciate a pair of long johns. No doubt the neighbours already assume I’m bonkers so…

I’m sure I heard about a study which showed men and women pictures of different dogs and the men were very drawn to looking at their genitals but the women weren’t. I can’t find it now so I may have dreamt it, but I’m sure I heard it on the QI podcast 🤔

While looking for it I found out that someone won an Ig Nobel Prize in 2005 for inventing Neuticles* *- silicone testicle replacements for neutered dogs whose owners want them to appear more “virile”. Is there a chance that the Dalmatian might be sporting a pair of XL Neuticles at his owner’s request??

No I don’t. That’s old fashioned now. The phrase has evolved in the last few years to become “the bollocks”. Earth wind and fire really are the bollocks.

But it’s in any case a redundant point. Every time someone says ‘bloody hell’ it’s not mandatory to picture the gates of hell with fire and blood seeping out.

But it’s ridiculous to suggest they wear underpants. I assume you were being a bit playful with your original post and not entirely serious.
