I know it’s early but I left my husband for a few hours yesterday, two cans of snow spray and asked him to do something nice with it on our front room window.. Came home to this, amazing stuff I think. Should I start pimping him out, would you pay for this, how much? If

Phenomenal! I'm grieving, so admittedly quite sensitive, but that actually made me quite emotional. Used to read Rupert the Bear books as a kid and it's brought back some lovely memories. Pimp him out I say 🤣

Funnywonder · 21/11/2025 19:07

Wow! He is indeed exceptionally talented. A boy who lived in our street when I was growing up used to decorate the windows of local shops with designs like that, but a bit more cartoonish. He went on to make a living as an artist. Those are amazing, they really are.

Taytoface · 21/11/2025 19:02

How did he do it? Spray the whole window and then etch out the picture?

Look up snow windows. He's a guy that travels around the UK doing this for private homes and window dressing shops etc

Didshejustsaythatoutloud · 21/11/2025 19:01

Wow, i would pay for that. Pimp him out.

66babe · 21/11/2025 19:01

Awww that’s lovely, well done him

Taytoface · 21/11/2025 19:01

I am generally open these "isn't my xxx so talented" threads with a sense of foreboding, but hats off to him, that is both really beautiful and incredibly tasteful. A hard mix to pull off for Christmas. If I was a local business I would so pay for that

It’s very good, but why have you got these pictures on your windows? What am I missing?

Have you figured it out yet? Grin

thestudio · 21/11/2025 18:59

That's insanely good
Is it really just done with snow spray, no other colours?
And did he do it freehand?
so good!

Fiftyandme · 21/11/2025 18:57

This is epic. He’s incredibly talented

StephensLass1977 · 21/11/2025 18:50

Beautiful work but too fkn early! You’ll be sick of on by Christmas Day. Will your husband as keen to clean it off? 😉

TokyoSushi · 21/11/2025 18:44

Oh wow!! It’s beautiful!

Motnight · 21/11/2025 18:42

That's lovely 🤩

Cantdothingsanymore · 21/11/2025 18:41

Oh I love this. I would never have thought to do that with spray.
Yes I think many people would pay for it.
Definitely can see a market for shop windows.
On a personal note jn homesz it depends if people have the spare cash to spend on something that will be wiped off. But potentially I could see some grand homes paying for it. And those who are utterly christmas obsessed.
If he just loves doing it but doesnt need extra money then he could do it as a charity collection thing on all your front windows with a collection box outside for when people stop and look, or at a local childrens hospice.

What am I missing?

A calendar, for a start

WiddlinDiddlin · 21/11/2025 18:36

Really nice!

Just be aware that even though they are temporary, if he does start charging he could be slapped with a copyright case if he uses other peoples IP - as trademark holders have to protect their IP, to keep that trademark active, it is very much easier to do that by taking on Joe Bloggs who inadvertently did a Disney themed snow window, than it is some huge firm ripping off designs.

Hons123 · 21/11/2025 18:35

Wow

lifeonmars100 · 21/11/2025 18:32

Charming, but why "sensitive content"? was quite nervous when I clicked! 😁

PoweredBySheerSpite · 21/11/2025 18:32

Absolutely wonderful! I think depending on where you live (well, London, or possibly getting in with a Chain?) he could get some seasonal business?!

MILLYmo0se · 21/11/2025 18:31

I get lots of snow-spray videos in my FB feed, they are v addictive to watch lol, your DHs are gorgeous

Seriously?

Cucy · 21/11/2025 18:26

Omg these are amazing!!!

I thought they were normal drawings at first and even then thought they were incredible.

Is there no way to preserve them?
As a PP said these would look great in shops windows and I’d 100% pay for that if I owned one.
