To say that women look bloody weird ….

.. when the only part of their face that moves is their mouth and eyes.

And don’t get me started on the massive fish lips.

Never see any naturally beautiful young women on TV these days. Such a shame

I genuinely thought the new woman at our office had had a stroke or some sort of facial tic, until she told us that she had had her cheeks done and botox. She's only 27. She looks slightly alien.
So much pressure to look this slightly weird way.

Your casual insult can get in the bin.

ive had 2 strokes & I don't look any different than before them (luckily) but even when people do, they don't look like they've cosmetically fucked with their face.

Oh yay, this thread again. Let's all have a great time bashing other women for doing things to their own face that don't impact us in any way! Woo!

But it does impact us. It puts pressure on us to conform with the ridiculous practice of injecting chemicals into our face to look a certain way.

What I think is a shame is how everyone now look the same. Theres this identikit look, with the high brows, billowing hair and the big lips. I bloody love daisy may cooper, but she appeared briefly on my Instagram the other day and she looked like such a generic face I couldn’t figure out who she was at first. I was just watching the girl bands show on BBC, and Tulisa now looks just like Kim k! Really different to her natural look, but also sort of the same as everyone else.

Edited

I agree, It is a real shame and I don’t think they realise how unnatural it looks.

It’s hard to reason with stupid but I’ll try again - I’m saying that women are beautiful in their natural state and don’t need to pump themselves with chemicals to achieve that weird facial paralysis which is fashionable today.

😂 sure you are..

Not this again…

I suppose it’s more do unto others as you’d have them do to you. You’re happy and comfortable judging others’ appearances. So as you’d understand - you’ll be happy to let others judge yours. So let us see the face of perfection..

their sole purpose being slagging off other women's appearances.
But it's not their appearance any more, it's the work of plastic surgeons.
Do you really want your daughter to feel that her natural state is not good enough and she ought to have work done, like all the slebs?

I know, I guess some people just want to be outraged and attack rather than considering what has actually been said

FuglyBitch · 20/11/2025 22:18

Best to keep your opinions on appearance to yourself, there will be things about your appearance that others won’t like, and you’d probably prefer not to hear them 🤷‍♀️

itsthetea · 20/11/2025 22:17

I think people do need to comment - women are spending time and money and possibly impacting their health to create a look that is reminiscent of a robot -AI

just because a woman does something doesn’t mean it can’t be derided

whilst normally I would say / your body your choice - there is a normalising of getting work done that isn’t the interest of women in general. Normalising more expensive and beauty standards associated with women isn’t really great for young girls

Well, at least their fury won't show on their faces 😏

I think it’s a real shame that my generation of women will never grow old and get normal wrinkles and lines, which I think look good and full of character! There is so much pressure for everyone to look the same with the Botox and the big lips

I think it’s a personal choice and if that person thinks it looks good then great for them, I don’t have to like it or want it for myself…….

However saying that, do you remember when everyone thought Pete Burns looked ridiculous, he’d be perfectly normal now 🤣

Liissey0710 · 20/11/2025 22:12

Vogue looks the same as she did 20 years ago when she was modelling. Just older. The work she has had is minimal.

GoingbackwardsForwards · 20/11/2025 22:03

Just seen Vogue Williams on IACGMOOH but seems to be a common thing with celebrities. It’s a shame they don’t realise they are more beautiful in their natural state.

I can't see this in Vogue at all. Ruby Wax on the other hand has v obvious botox and fillers

GoingbackwardsForwards · 20/11/2025 22:10

Chillyourbeansweeman · 20/11/2025 22:08

I agree with you, it’s a real shame they don’t realise how beautiful they are without but it’s sadly becoming the norm.

Thanks for understanding what I mean rather than launching into a vitriolic attack 😀

I though a very natural appearing Victoria Beckham looked though not sounded bloody fantastic sitting on that sofa yowling away with Cruz the other day.
