This is a link to the glorious YouTube video that accompanies his (Cruz Beckham's) musical masterpiece. I think I'm going to have to invest in Tena Lady if I watch it again :) Made my day!

Romeo is no longer a pro footballer; he played for reserve team of Inter Miami; football club that his father owned 😀
He is now a model

I haven't watched this but I saw a video on VB insta recently which was Cruz playing Viva Forever on his guitar and he and his mum were both singing. It was really sweet and he was pretty good on guitar. VB was sitting cross legged on the sofa with no make up on.

My DS plays guitar and we sing together and I just thought it was a lovely mother son moment.

I feel like I’m living in a parallel universe sometimes. Brooklyn is a photographer, Romeo is a pro footballer and Cruz is a musician - just because your personal preference is that you don’t like the music doesn’t mean “they haven’t amounted to much”! I have no idea if they were privately educated or not but assume they would have been as the fees would be small fry for the family, but are privately educated people not allowed careers in the arts and sports?

The song in the OP isn’t my style but I thought it had Britpop vibes - which is still a popular genre. Similarly, drugs isn’t something I have knowledge of as I’ve never taken illegal drugs but Lucy in the sky with diamonds was a very popular song back in its day! As was yellow submarine. It’s like people have selective memories (or they just like to give out a good slagging off, which is more likely).

Brooklyn a photographer ???
He is also a chef🤣🤣🤣
Where did I say I didn’t like the music?
Not ‘slagging off’ but expressing an opinion

Nitgel · 20/11/2025 19:41

His band toured our local pub. I think it went down well.

Yamamm · 20/11/2025 19:39

We’re all fascinated though aren’t we? To see how two high achievers produce ordinary children who aren’t allowed to be ordinary.
Life needs a few goals. What do you do if you have everything you could ever want but no talent or incentives? Like I said. Fascinating.

Hello Vicky 😗

For many years in succession my top 2 songs on Spotify wrapped were The Ketchup Song followed by the Spanish version of The Ketchup Song, that's my benchmark 😂

user836367392 · 20/11/2025 19:32

What a bunch of non lookers!

Nope. Bit like their parents.

Im not watching it because then YouTube will start happily recommending me similar stuff…..

David was one of the best footballers of his generation and Victoria was in one of the most successful girl bands ever. You don’t get there without talent!

Pricelessadvice · 20/11/2025 18:54

I’ll never forget Brooklyns foray into the world of photography.
Remember the elephant photo?? 😂

All that expensive and excellent private education, and none of them has amounted to much
It must be down to the parenting and/or genes
Methinks they are all going to live lives of public petty dramas, silly token careers and hangers on
I recall Cruz is the one who lost his licence for speeding, and daddy made a crass joke (!) about it
They can do what they want: money will fix any problems

Reminding me of a blur type song, indie pop . Lyrics crap not sure what they mean. Is about drugs. Also made me think of a brilliant song by Tom Odell with the lyrics of Mother Nature in me. I quite enjoyed the video seemed fun! Will probably be a hit as we are not supposed to like it ! Too old.

The kids all seem weird in their own way

Still just seems like mates with access to a recording studio mucking about to me - were you never 20 and experimenting with psychedelics 😃

I get the nepo baby hate but I think there are far more objectionable examples than this.

I get the mates thing

i don't get the fact there are proper adults involved and happy to have their name linked to it!!

W0tnow · 20/11/2025 16:42

I don’t mind it. It’s kind of catchy. Hilarious that he’s putting on a geezer accent though.

thecalmsea · 20/11/2025 16:40

Is weird for a 30y old to want to go out with a 20y old tho .... but can see why the 20y old wouldn't complain.

thecalmsea · 20/11/2025 16:38

Bruisername · 20/11/2025 16:23

It’s the 30 year old girlfriend encouraging it that’s weird!!! That would give me the serious ick!

Bruisername · 20/11/2025 16:27

Maybe it’s actually a piece of social commentary and he’s going to do a documentary on the obsession with talentless nepo babies?

QueenClinomania · 20/11/2025 16:26

Are you sure its not intended to be a joke?

Bruisername · 20/11/2025 16:23

thecalmsea · 20/11/2025 16:20

I mean that just seems like a bunch of lad mates messing around. We did simialr in halls but obviously didnt have the money for those production values. They're just (rich kid) mucking about surely? Seems pretty normal to me for a 20y old, who's in a band.

It’s quite funny though

He’s mostly singing flat.

Wonder if they ran out of money for the auto tune

im not clicking the link, not because I dont trust you, more that I dont want to contribute one iota to their delusional idea they have talent ..

Was it really bad!

OrigamiAnimal · 20/11/2025 16:18

The song isn't that bad. The video is cringe
