Trump told a female reporter this. How come this behaviour is accepted but if it was former president Obama, people would have lost their mind. Obama had to practically be ‘perfect’. When Obama wore a tan suit, it was such a huge deal.

Racism is a sick illness.

I just read it and felt shocked then totally depressed because its this kind of thing is now just accepted and tolerated from a countrys leader so its just another unremarkable news story.

20 years ago that would end your career and you would have to resign as your party would make you.

Its just grossly unprofessional and wrong and unacceptable. No one shpuld be able.to vehave luke this without consequences or reprimand

The US have an elected dicator. I am just embarassed by our degeneration as a society.

Why is he never brought to account for anything?

CrossChecking · 18/11/2025 20:16

I have seen a lot of comments from people along the lines of this is hilarious people are too sensitive these days. If it were Biden even who came out with this everyone would be aghast but because it's blithering Trump, who I saw a video of earlier saying 'I like fish' and then hissing, it seems that for some anything goes.

Bambamhoohoo · 18/11/2025 20:14

As with everything with trump, it’s so outrageous normal people struggle to place WTF is going on and what they could do about it

FuzzyPuffling · 18/11/2025 20:11

I saw it as misogyny, not racism.

Also, it was " Quiet, piggy"

Arlanymor · 18/11/2025 19:53

International media is condemning it left, right and centre. The White House has been asked to comment - it's not being accepted. In fact people are using it to draw parallels with other crappy stuff he has said. I don't know where you get the impression that no one is bothered about it?

ShenandoahRiver · 18/11/2025 19:51

What is actually worse is that he is defending Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the White House this evening - defending him over the horrific murder of Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.

Overtheatlantic · 18/11/2025 19:51

Most people are scared of him, and they weren’t raised to stand up to evil. Or else they are in denial that he’s evil.

Greggsit · 18/11/2025 19:50

You're being unreasonable because people are not accepting it. It's a major news story with a lot of condemnation.
