She's dying isn't she?

Mum discharged herself from hospital today.

Hiatus hernia. She can't eat or drink anything. Literally throws it straight back up.

Can't walk because her lower back is buggered.

UTI in blood. Been given antibiotics but nothing seems to be giving her a boost.

Sat in a sodding chair for 36 hours at A&E. Not slept for at least 48. Said she just wanted to go home.

I'm really scared 😭

My beautiful mummy passed away at 2am.

Surrounded by her husband and 3 children.

She looks so peaceful. 💔

I'm glad you were all able to be with her when she died, and that it was peaceful.
I'm shaking my head at the way your mother was treated, though.

Sending warmest condolences. She is out of pain now and will be thankful to have such a caring, together and supportive daughter. Well done for all your actions over the past period - not so well done to our broken NHS.

Im so sorry for your loss and all you and she went through. Take comfort from the fact you were all together with her, and all you did for her over the last few weeks.

@McSteamyorMcdreamy I am so so sorry for your loss. Just under two weeks ago, I went through near enough the exact thing with my darling Dad. Even the lack of urgency from the hospital. In fact, he had a letter yesterday booking his MRI scan for Nov 30th. Er, bit late… 😡

They did redeem themselves with the palliative care tho and I was with him when he passed peacefully and out of pain.

I am so sorry you know how this feels too.

I am so sorry for your loss, my own mum passed away last year but she was 90. I was and still am heartbroken so I can only imagine how devastated you must feel to lose your mum so young. Sending love xx
