It seems impossible? I just want a couple of decent sized rugs for a large bedroom and living room. Everywhere I’ve looked is minimum 300!!!

£100 is extremely cheap for a large rug though? How much do you think it should be?

I think 100 quid for a biggish rug is pretty good, amazon and wayfair have cheaper ones but the quality will be bad (although that might not matter, i get cheap ones for the kids rooms because theyll not want them in a few years when they grow up a bit more). The big area rug I got from Made was gorgeous and lasted ages so I was happy to pay about 250 for it, I've had it years now - they've got some small ones for as low as £40 online.... you could also try H and M home, they sometimes have some bargains.

Dunelm , the rugs are excellent quality and reasonably priced

Seconding this. The Boston wool border rugs are lovely and come in a range of nice colours.

I bought this one and love it. Prefer it to the more expensive real sheepskin one I had before. Super cheap but may not be big enough.

Have you tried your local market- ours have them on this. And they are great (and much cheaper than IKEA and Dunelm....)

MarxistMags · 06/11/2025 16:02

TK Maxx had nice ones last week.

HouseofDreams · 06/11/2025 15:59

Marketplace or gumtree if you want really cheap

lynnebenfieldshandbag · 06/11/2025 15:59

Charity shops (the bigger ones with furniture) often have great rugs.

Statsquestion1 · 06/11/2025 15:48

you’re not gonna get anything of good quality for cheap. Try Temu?

WLnamechange · 06/11/2025 15:47

What size and how much are you wanting to pay?

They’re still over 100 though even in Dunelm!

IKEA and Dunelm are where I bought from previously.

Yamamm · 06/11/2025 14:58

Tried Ikea? I have a lovely large rug from there for 180.
