We have a family member who served three years in prison for sexual assault on a minor over a seven year period. The wife stood by him. Later, It transpired that her daughter was also sexually assaulted by him.

They were given their grandchildren by social services when the mother who was also a victim of his sexual assault had a nervous breakdown.

I grew up in a notorious vice area, we practically had our own page in the news of the world. If social services wanted to investigate all the men involved they need an awful lot of social workers.
