It looks warm, comfortable and welcoming - without being “overdone” on the autumn theme. And your dog is the most perfect accessory for any season.

I think it’s wonderful that you’ve created a space for yourself that you love. Even more so, given what you’ve left behind you.

Just remember - YOU have created this space and the joy you find in it. Nothing better than reminding yourself of that.

I would happily rock up at your place on a blowy autum evening, armed with a bottle of red, to kick back and relax - dog cuddles would need to be guaranteed though!

OP your living room looks so warm and inviting, I do love autumnal colours, you can tell it’s a calm and happy home, a haven for you and your lovely dog! Glad you can decorate as you please after all those years.

Sorry but the black and orange make a nice room look tacky. Just the orange cushions on their own would have warmed the place up. The dark cushions and throw over the seat bit (why?!) are not a good look.

Thank you all so much for your positive comments and lovely feedback x I feel a bit overwhelmed as previously, many years ago I was put down with my choices. Thanks, I’m ok with my own validation now but appreciate your feedback x in my happy place now and sending love ❤️

It's clean and cozy and calming. I like what you've done with the lighting and your companion is the icing on the cake.

Sofa throws from B&M 🤦‍♀️but they do the job and hopefully not too shabby 🤞 x
