To be honest, it’s a pretty selfish way of doing it. Do you know how many train drivers have to quit because of the trauma of people throwing themselves off of bridges? You can’t hit the brakes. It’s just awful.

Strongly agree. I met a train driver once who told me she was on long term sick leave for her mental health because "something" happened when she was driving. It was clear what she meant, she couldn't even talk about it. She said every time she drove the train after that, she kept thinking it would happen again any second, so she had to get signed off. She said you're alone in the cab for hours with no one to talk to, just your awful thoughts to sit with.

Totally selfish to knowingly choose to traumatise an innocent person that way.

How anybody still likes Clarkson after he punched a junior member of staff because they couldn’t get him a steak when the hotel restaurant was closed I have no idea.

Ditto anybody thinking he represents farmers when he admitted he only bought his farm as a tax dodge.

He clearly has great PR contacts and an enormous brass neck.

Never liked his columns or top gear personality but do enjoy Clarkson's Farm. Actually a compassionate side to him that occasionally comes out. Wouldn't fuck him though. Doubt he'd want to do me either.
