Has he joined Reform yet?

He is a vocal anti-Brexiter and always has been, so I don’t think that would work for him.

Right. What an eloquent and illuminating correction.

You think an assault which happened at night AFTER FILMING had finished for the day in the hotel where the cast and crewe were staying and which got Clarkson sacked was filmed as part of an episode.

Even a quick google will tell you it was not a stunt or scripted or whatever else you are suggesting.

My initial post was

If you had watched the episode, I think I can understand his reaction.
And the hotel restaurant certainly didn’t look closed in the episode

Not too sure why you are so adamant that the episode wasn’t shown. Or why you have said

You think an assault which happened at night AFTER FILMING had finished for the day in the hotel where the cast and crewe were staying and which got Clarkson sacked was filmed as part of an episode

We know that bit wasn’t shown but the episode definitely was.

I've just finished watching the iPlayer version of the Bolivia episode of Top Gear. Epic, awesome, brilliant. Love them all, including Jezza.

True English comedy genius.

Absolutely agree. Love his dry sense of humour and wit. The Top Gear specials and brilliant and JC is my fave!

Oh and I LOVE the support he gives to farmers and his wonderful ‘Clarksons farm’ giving us wonderful entertainment and showing how tough farming (and running a pub) can be.
So I like JC and agree with a PP - I think he would be interesting in the sack. 😃

I could accept that we all have different tastes until your last sentence, which gave me the dry heaves. Ugh!

JungAtHeart · 24/10/2025 18:31

If I were ever to become inappropriately horny …I would picture him. And there it would end …

Those specials are unmissable. Comedy gold.

No they're not, get thee some proper British comedy!

Putin & Trump didn't make your list?

I'll add those as well!!

He's undoubtedly very witty. Top Gear effectively ended when he was kicked off. Has done a fine job taking over Millionaire from Chris Tarrant too.

No he hasn't!!

wash your mouth out!!

No, I'm not bringing your other comments from other threads over here, suffice to say I'm not surprised.

what does surprise me is how many on this thread are fans of the utter twat.

My top five pricks are as follows;

Boris Johnson (obvs)
Jeremy Clarkson
Piers Morgan
Jonathan Ross
Jacob Rees Mogg

Putin & Trump didn't make your list?

I read an article though menopause brain stops me remembering why, who wrote it and where it was, pointing out that in fact he rather than Farage has the potential to be the British version of Trump. Not that we can have a leader descend from the top in the way that Trump did, but that he has a similar ‘appeal’. Seems right according to this thread.

Clarkson was against Brexit unlike Trump and Farage. Also Clarkson plays a bumbling idiot on tv whereas Trump played an intelligent businessman on tv but in real life they’re the opposite. Clarkson reads books something Trump doesn’t do and has an interest in history. I’m sure Clarkson has some over lapping appeal but if he did step into politics which I can’t imagine him doing I think it’s unfair to say he’d be a British Trump.

But wasnt he married then? Possibly to Wife no2 and the kids. So that might have been her decision.

It was most likely a double act for sure, but it was him, as I recall, writing about laying land mines to deal with bobble hatted ramblers, or something like that.

I’d hold a very low opinion of anyone who doesn’t find Jeremy Clarkson to be hilarious, brilliant, and generally a great English personality. He’s been a great friend to farmers, even here in Australia where we love him.

It wasn’t televised or part of any episode so I have no idea what you are referring to.
The BBC sacked him for an unprovoked verbal and physical assault on a member of production staff.

It was
