so many of us use what’s app, I have a friend of mine who recently created a what’s app group of friends (couples) but did not include me or another wife, despite the last time she did this she included us both without issue. There followed an invitation which clearly I never saw! Any experience of rude behaviour on social media like this or am I lucky to have it targeted to me ! ?

I’d give her benefit of doubt. My husband set up a group recently to organise our group Christmas night out and forgot a couple, not that we don’t like them or anything. Just didn’t realise we hadn’t added them. He added them tonight and that was it!

So is she only inviting your husband to the party? Not sure why you assuming she’s being rude rather than has just missed you be accident

I mean, I guess you can choose to believe whatever you want. If she's a friend, I'd give her the benefit of the doubt that she thought she added you but didn't. But if you'd prefer to think it's an intentional snub, go ahead.

I would not invite both members of a couple to a party separately; I would think the husband would tell the wife it vice versa.

No invitation. My husband added to the group. I would’ve expected an invitation…and as for unread messages I’m a bit lost
