AIBU to keep this dress? A Vinted one

Bought a dress a few weeks ago off of Vinted. Looking back, there were issues with the transaction from the start - seller totally ignored all messages and waited until the last minute possible to send. When the package finally did arrive I gave the dress a very quick look over and clicked ‘everything is ok’, by this point it had been sitting at the post office for a few days and the seller was pestering me to pick it up and get the sale completed.

She waited until I had clicked ‘everything is ok’ to inform me that she potentially had sent the wrong dress. I went back for a second look and she was indeed right - it was a very similar dress (same colour, size material and style) however the one she had accidentally sent was thrice the price of what I had bought.. (RRP £50 vs RRP £150)

Seller immediately began pestering me to send the dress back. I told her that the sale was complete by that point and therefore there was nothing that could be done. She became increasingly persistent and suggested swapping bank details and addresses so that a courier should be arranged - again I told her no, I would not be swapping bank details with a stranger over DM, especially since this is against Vinted rules. She then wanted me to relist it on my own page so that she could buy it back - by this point she was obsessively texting me multiple times a day, becoming increasingly agitated + rude. Due to her manner, I didn’t want to go out of my way to help her out + go through the inconvenience of packaging, listing, posting etc so again I told her no, I would be keeping the dress. I informed her that she should be more careful with what she sends next time and left it at that..

She has since attempted to report me, left me multiple bitchy messages and a 1 star review calling me a money grabber amongst many other things🤣 I blocked her and a woman who seems to be her sister (same surname and location) has followed me to keep an eye.. Ridiculous behaviour from grown women!

Am I really being so unreasonable to keep the dress?

Mistakes do happen on Vinted - my OH was sent wrong shoes to the ones he bought and the seller admitted he'd sent his wife's shoes by mistake and she wanted them back! Is it really worth the hassle of keeping it? You've done nothing wrong though, it is up to you.

Of course she’s not a thief.🙄 The idiot woman only has herself to blame, and hasn’t endeared herself to the OP either.

I am wondering how similar a different dress can be for someone not to notice though …

At a glance they’re basically the same dress (I own the one that I had originally ordered in a smaller size). I’d be fuming if I paid £150 for the one she sent! Very much looks and feels the same quality as its Zara equivalent.

Not my fault if she sent the wrong thing!

I regularly sell on Vinted and certainly wouldn’t expect someone to return a mistakenly sent item to me.
