because of your post I googled and read them
I am utterly traumatised

I only managed a couple of paragraphs and feel completely traumatised. Utterly sick, vile, pieces of shit (not even worthy of being called human beings). I hope those wombs (they're not mothers) never get to see their children again.

I've had many obsessions with rock stars, but the most I did was turn up to the concert venue really early to see the band and hear the rehearsal.

Are you on glue?

It was sarcasm @Lesina

Yep it was horrifying that they just ignored her

@ThePieceHall they went on to arrest her after his trial & accused her of colluding with him. Because she had the images that she’d shared with the police in the first place. It was dropped, but the stress of that experience following being publicly thanked for her part in bringing him down must have been hell.

can you even imagine.

Thanx for letting us know! Time to open up a bottle or champagne to celebrate. Always nice to know when these vile humans don’t get to live out a long comfortable life in prison.

AngryLikeHades · 11/10/2025 21:31

Excellent news!! 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
Gary Glitter next please!!!

@ThePieceHall i was horrified what she went through. She was a hero frankly & my estimation of the police dropped below the floor with what they tried to do to her. How many other people who might think twice about reporting, knowing that any moment they could be accused of the same? It was truly awful. She was a very brave woman.

Now THIS is an actual sickening and deranged response.

How can you say that, it is most likely true.

What an odd comment. I'm interested in why you're upset with people's outrage at arguably the most immoral of crimes? If you think this thread is distasteful you don't have to read it and yet you did. Furthermore you have tried to admonish posters who express happiness at the news of his death. It's not a loss. He was irredeemable. Do you have sympathy for Ian Watkins perhaps? In what way are you more clued up that anybody else here? You're post is like a red flag. You're moral compass is way off....

You know nothing about my moral compass.
I have no sympathy whatsoever for Watkins or any other despicable piece of shit who abuses children. In fact I am a survivor of CSA and have worked with children who have been sexually abused and exploited my whole adult life. I can be disgusted by Watkin's crimes and still think that some of the comments and jokes on here, as well as the insulting comments about people who work in prisons, are in poor taste. If you don't agree that's perfectly fine but your insinuation that my feeling uncomfortable with people falling over themselves to express jubilation at anyones death means I'm somehow excusing child abuse is hugely offensive, as well as completely illogical.

My overriding feeling is one of relief. Now we know for sure that he can never hurt another child which can only be viewed as a net positive for the world.

My thoughts exactly. Its good news that he is dead.

The world is a better place without that piece of shit.

I read them at the time, and I do think about it randomly sometimes. Utterly shocked how a mother could sacrifice her baby like that. If anyone hasn’t read the sentencing remarks from the trial - trust me; don’t do it. Harrowing. I shed no tears.

Quamarina · 11/10/2025 21:28

ThePieceHall · 11/10/2025 21:25

Well done, Joanne, for what you did to help the babies and children. I’m so sorry for the gaslighting you endured, from the police and children’s social care. You were very brave.

I haven't agreed with most of with @DrowningInSyrup 's posts but she's right that you have made yourself look a prize bellend.

How so?

Algen · 11/10/2025 21:13

I don’t know if that would have been reported on, but one was given 14 years and the other 17, so it’s not impossible that one or both have been released.

I hope they had their wombs taken away.

I just Googled to see when his parole date might have been and came across a Change.org petition where someone was petitioning for him to be out by his 50th birthday as he had "been through a lot". Over 100 people had signed the petition. The mind boggles.
