It’s a a rag today. Hideous.

Those woman who offered up their innocent children were already released from prison… One is back in though for breaching the terms of her licence. Doesn’t seem remotely long enough, when you think of the long term trauma the children they birthed will suffer.

How do you know that?

I think the OP (and a few others) have made it clear it was sarcasm now though! Smile

Yes, they did :)
My initial comment was made having just read the first post (and none of the others)

I'm so glad I'm so sorry for his victims just babies and very young children at the time I hope they got the right treatment therapy and recovered from their abuse. This should have happened to ian watkins many years ago he was child abuser and pedophilie these women as well that worshipped him and let him abuse their children also need to be dealt with. Children and babies are really so innocent. I'm so glad he can no longer harm another child or babies but they are many other males and females are like him in 2025

Um… you have cut and pasted my exact post from a few days ago??

Guess I’ll take that as a compliment 🤨

He was paying other inmates to protect him...?! Thats appalling. Prisons are so corrupt, someone like him should not have access to money or a phone.... well he got his just deserts.

The way it works is that the one wanting protection has someone on the outside pay someone connected to the goons protecting him. They use it to buy drugs, or whatever, which are smuggled into the prison.

PeonyPatch · 15/10/2025 19:53

My DH told me that over 200,000 people on Spotify still listen to or subscribe to Lost Prophets. I find that baffling and disturbing in equal measure. 😵‍💫

The two guys that did it did us all a favor. Peadophiles have no place in this world

Nor do murderers or rapists.

Butchyrestingface · 14/10/2025 08:17

ThatBlackCat · 14/10/2025 06:17

Try getting your facts right. They are worried about MALE RAPISTS being housed with women, many who are the victims of rape, domestic violence and abuse.

Those apt to lionise IW’s disgusting (alleged) murderers may very well find it equally unproblematic when a female prisoner on the women’s estate is attacked/raped/murdered by an Isla Bryson type. Because, well, some of them have committed terrible offences so any trans woman attacking them “deserves a drink, mate”.

ThatBlackCat · 14/10/2025 06:17

CrispsPlease · 12/10/2025 12:29

Stop fucking picking apart how I've worded that I'm glad a fellow inmate murdered a baby rapist.

I'm sure the fellow inmate is an abhorrent arsehole worthy of death himself. But for this particular act of his measly life- he's a hero.

It's a bit like the feminism board. They're all oh so worried about murdering women being mixed with transwomen.

Try getting your facts right. They are worried about MALE RAPISTS being housed with women, many who are the victims of rape, domestic violence and abuse.

DramaLlamacchiato · 13/10/2025 10:13

Horrific but predictable. It was obvious these were exactly the kinds of people they’d be.

I suppose one very small positive is they will now have increased sentences over and above the inadequate ones they previously received and the public will be protected for longer.

Edited

Win-win?

The ones already convicted of murder is going to be doing 40 minimum in total if he gets convicted of this. Imprisoned from 22 to into his 60s if not longer. He is going to be one dangerous individual as he literally has nothing to lose by killing anyone now, including prison officers or fellow inmates. The other guy is a violent sexual deviant so anything added onto his sentence is in the public interest. He'll get life if convicted so that means a parole board will have to enable his release as apposed to serving his sentence then released. So in the scheme of things there are positives all round but nobody should glorify what they did. Just violent criminals who have been excluded from society for their actions resolving their disputes in the only way they know how.
Best just to let them become the insignificant stain on the human race that they are and forget about them and let them live out their lives in confinement.

If convicted of murder the one already convicted of murder will get a whole life sentence.

Paedophiles are sub-human IMO.

What about murderers who stab innocent strangers to death in the street?

Or who drag strangers off the street at knife point to repeatedly rape them?

I think there are occasions when the 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' mentality can be taken too far.

Pemba · 13/10/2025 16:02

Watkins and his murderers were all three monsters. He was the worst monster though.

Pps said that likely he was not killed out of disgust at his crimes by some honest(!) burglar or something, but it would be by other pretty evil men with purely selfish motivations. They were right weren't they?

So no I don't think anyone should be thinking of congratulating his killers! Whilst I am glad IW is dead, his killers were the unwitting instruments of this happening and I certainly hope that they don't get found not guilty by some thick jurors. It would be good if they got longer sentences actually, as their original crimes were horrible and they're obviously dangerous.

It really wouldn’t have been an altruistic act. While they may exploit the ‘he was terrible and I was so overcome with empathy for his victims that I had to take matters into my own hands’ angle, it will be a cynical attempt to get a lighter sentence (at least for the one that isn’t already a lifer).

They mix with pedophiles on a daily basis, and I would not be at all surprised if they get on just fine with other baby rapists in there. It will have been because of personal grievances that they targeted Ian Watkins. These aren’t people that were on some vigilante moral crusade.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if there are inmates that are furious about them killing him, given they’ve now lost not only a cash cow that was providing them with other perks (iirc he was setting some of them up with the groupies writing to him), but one that probably owed them money.

Yes this. People need to remember that two things can be true at once - an awful man met a suitably grisly end, AND the people responsible are still awful in their own right. Even if you don’t care about the “crime” they committed inside, you should care about the ones they committed prior against the innocent enough to not render them heroes. Doing a bad thing to a person who deserved it doesn’t alleviate you of responsibility for the bad things you did to those who didn’t deserve it.

Also as you say, if the current reporting is accurate, they did it because he pissed THEM off. Not because they were passionate about getting vigilante justice for his victims, even if they have inadvertently found some peace in what has happened.

DancingLions · 13/10/2025 15:46

I wouldn't be surprised if you're right. He lasted 13 years inside after all.
The men who did it are not men I'd want to bump into, much less buy a drink for. I hope they do get a good amount of extra years on their sentences, as they are not men I want to see out on the streets.

He also only pleaded guilty to get a lighter sentence (it didn't work) and blamed the drugs for his behaviour.

I'm sure the power he had over the groupies turned him on. He's the same age as me, so at the height of his fame he would have been mid-20s, I imagine he had young fans throwing themselves at him and what an ego boost that would have been, it probably made him feel invincible and untouchable so he thought he could get away with his depraved kicks.

Tbh I’m inclined to think he was a bored sexual sadist wanting to see how far he could go. He could get women and teenage girls easily, so there was no fun or challenge in that for him.

Imo it was less about specifically being attracted to children, but about getting pleasure in having not just the power over his helpless victims, but the power of having their mothers facilitate it on his say so. Basically a raging god complex.

CherryRipe1 · 13/10/2025 15:25

@InterIgnisI agree completely. These people are probably mostly all psychopaths with no morals, ethics or feelings. It's just what's in it for me, with repercussions if they don't get what they want. Rashid Gedel 25 and Samuel Dodsworth 43 have been charged for IWs murder.

I'm glad he's dead but his killer/s are about as equally scummy & I don't think it was an altruistic act. Greed & jealousy probably came into play. I do feel a bit sorry for Watkins parents seeing all the outpourings on SM etc, which are justified but nonetheless.....They've got to go to his funeral with mixed emotions. I keep thinking what the hell made him like this? Was he a born wrong 'un or did he get warped and jaded through his fame with access to young fans and acquire his disgusting sexual appetites chasing higher highs of vileness. Was he sexually abused? Not trying to justify his behaviours, just trying to get my head round it. He had no remorse at all, even said he couldn't see what all the fuss was about. Absolute monster.
