Daughter not soeaky

Granddaughter is 6 months old.. husband kissed her on back of head my daughter has not spoken to us since.. saying that we shouldn't of kissed her child.. anyones thoughts?

So you know that she’s always had the boundary in place and your husband disregarded her wishes? In that case, YABU.

Well to be honest if she’s told you not too because she’s worried about germs and you’ve ignored her and done it anyway, I can understand why she would be annoyed.

No cold sore, no smokey breath. Colds ect we always wash our hands before touching baby..

Has she asked you not to kiss the baby?
Is the baby immuno-suppressed?
Did you DH have a stinking cold?
Does he have smokey breath?
Did he have a huge cold sore on his mouth?

If no to all the above, then I think your daughter is over-reacting.

I had to put my kids in nursery at 5 months so I find this very baffling. What is wrong with kidding babies at 6 months? Mine was crawling also at 6 months so goodness knows what germs they picked up.

Your daughter is mad. Nothing wrong with a granddad kissing his granddaughter on her head. What’s your relationship normally like with your daughter?
