To be in tears about what Billy Crystal said?

We were on a train and he was really rude about what I’d cooked. It was some sort of cheese casserole. It’s the first time I made it but I thought it tasted ok.

He also took the last seat at the table so I had to sit on my own. He ended up admitting the casserole tasted better than he’d initially thought but it was too late. I was so crushed that I woke up in tears.

I’m no stranger to night time disappointment; Many’s the time I’ve had to have words with DH first thing in the morning because he’s cheated.

But I thought better of Billy.

I think you are being very unfair to Billy. He may be lactose intolerant and was trying to politely turn down your casserole. Instead you forced him to eat it, which led to his hospitalisation and rumours in the press that he had a nose job. Shame on you OP.

I’m glad you posted this because I was beginning to think I was unreasonable. Dh asked me to stop talking about my dream cause it was making HIM feel bad. He left me for a beautiful woman, just ghosted me and my family agreed she was much nicer than I am and went camping as a group while she had to reglaze the house. He said he’d never do that, but he did do that last night.

I'm so disappointed in Billy. I thought him.a kind man. I'll give him evil stare when he appears on my TV screen again.
Maybe he was having a bad day?

Time heals OP. I had a similar traumatic experience a few months ago and can't remember any of the details now. Hugs.

I don’t think so, no. I’d fallen asleep on the sofa and didn’t actually go to bed til 4, so probably had a bit of a “bitty” sleep which I guess might explain it.

I’m not so upset any more. I’ve moved to being quite pissed off.

I could never watch anything with him in it again. That was just spiteful, and I'd not be able to get past it. Ever.

Be gentle with yourself, OP. You've had quite the traumatic experience and will need time to heal.
