I could never figure out how these worked practically in regards to toileting. They would have been in the way somewhat and would have been crusted with wee/poo. The person would have needed a full washing out underneath after each toilet trip, and I doubt they would have been easy to get everything off given they didn’t exactly have high powered showers/hoses. I don't think it will make any difference to a settlement. Adultery of any type generally doesn't. It's not the Middle Ages anymore and people aren't penalised for adultery in divorces, or for having kinks in said adultery.
