Backlash against Trans women

(Story on ITV news about drag performer who died after taking drug ketamine, not suicide, just a regular user it seems who took more than usual.) Thus post isn't about him.

Anyway, bloke during story moaned that 'we are currently seeing a backlash against trans at the moment, particularly trans women' (men), and 'that's not a world I want to live in'.

I mean seriously, the TRA has been abusive to women for years for even mentioning any concerns, yet now trans women are victims (again). Perpetual victims it seems. These men are frankly ridiculous. I get fed up of the men in dresses and their victimhood.

As a previous poster has said Sandie Peggie is the latest example. The trans identifying male even made notes on the times she waited until he was done before entering the changing rooms.

There are many other examples. https://reduxx.info/civil-rights-complaint-filed-after-illinois-school-reportedly-forced-girls-to-change-in-front-of-trans-identified-male-student/

Wow.

That's disgusting. The school basically allowed and enabled a pervert to watch girls undress and forced them to undress in front of a male. What were the school thinking. Why do people bend over backwards and allow girls and women to be perved at by TIMs?

"Only a few days later, “the situation went from bad to worse,” as according to Georgas, the male student was then present in the girls’ locker rooms for their Physical Education (PE) class. The girls, unwilling to have their privacy violated even further, collectively refused to undress in front of him. The following day, Assistant Principal Cathy Van Treese hauled the girls into her office and questioned them, before escorting them to their locker room and forcing them to change into their uniforms with the boy present. Van Treese was accompanied by Assistant Superintendent Joanna Ford and Director for Student Services Ginger Logemann. The monitoring to ensure compliance allegedly happened “all week,” Georgas explained to the district."

They might not be the same in many ways, but they do have the following in common. They are men who have stolen from women, starting, but not ending , with our word “woman”.

Which is why I don’t use the dishonest transwoman word any more. I call them what they are TIM. Trans identifying men. Doesn’t stop them dressing and living as they want, but puts some reality back in the equation.

I'll use TIM in future too. Men shouldn't steal the word women.

I'm fed up of the whinging from them. I don't dislike them as individuals. They come over as tone deaf to the struggles of real women.

Okaay. The trans population of the UK is 0.5% of the whole population. How much actual whinging are you on about? I feel it's more the transgender haters in the last 15 years or so have been the ones do the majority of moaning.

Particularly on Mumsnet - the whinge in never bloody ending.

They are a very noisy bunch of men. The news story I referred to was main news ITV and someone managed to shoehorn in poor trans identified men! No pushback when he boo hoo hooed from the reporter.

Well this back lash against trans women is worrying isn't it? Biological women doxing them, threatening them with rape and violence, even death threats, you can't blame them being scared and upset, oh no wait.......

👍

@GargoylesofBeelzebub

Goodness me, that’s a real puzzler isn’t it?

I can only assume that if, for example, you are a six foot plus former hockey player with a tendency to burst into tears when thwarted by a five foot nothing in her socks middle aged menopausal woman, then it illustrates how superior your heightened emotional sensitivity is compared to us poor creatures who are only women because we were born women, and haven’t tossed and turned for probably weeks and weeks of sleepless nights in a quandary about our true identity.

Just another example of how much better men are at being women than women are at being women, you’d think we would have recognised and accepted this phenomenon of nature by now.

They’re quite a loud, demanding, entitled minority of the population though. And what they are demanding is misogynistic, unreasonable and absurd.

Helleofabore · 20/09/2025 11:04

Any person who demands that their gender identity is prioritised over sex when sex matters is, in effect, creating a 'competition'.

It then becomes a competition as to which person gets access to that provision: the male person who demands to be treated as a female person, or the female person who has that unique need relating to her being of the female sex class that the particular provision was addressing.

And this is why we should not give it the time, it’s a mental illness so why isn’t it treated as such

Helleofabore · 20/09/2025 11:04

Coconutter24 · 20/09/2025 07:57

I’m sure they have their own struggles, why is it a competition?

I didn't know that was a thing? What an absolute disgrace.

Google Sandie Peggie or the Darlington Nurses for current high profile examples

So... you just skipped over those of us with absolute reason to take issue with TRAs?

Why? You know men aren't women. You know some men have availed themselves of womens spaces, services, sports etc. Why do you support them in doing so?

MyLimeGuide · 20/09/2025 09:35

GargoylesofBeelzebub · 20/09/2025 08:03

Why is it that transwomen’s rights and dignity involves them not having to undress in front of men,but women are not afforded that same rights and dignity to not have to undress in front of men? 🤔

They're making it a competition by vying for women's spaces.

Ponderingwindow · 19/09/2025 16:59

I can equally care about the potential stress points between women’s rights and transgender rights and be concerned about the growing backlash against transgender people.

Is part of the reason there is a backlash because of the lack of concern for women’s needs by some transgender advocates? Absolutely. That still doesn’t mean transgender people don’t deserve rights and dignity.

It’s everywhere!!! And although they make up such a small percentage of the population the impact is huge. We don’t care.

Foolsgold74 · 20/09/2025 07:23

Not at any stage or time anywhere in history has a group been so all-encompassingly powerful. Such a Sacred Caste.

I mean, men have always, the world over, bullied their way into power and dominance over women.

For 0.5% of the population they've got such an enormous presence. They've managed to completely re-order society. To erase womens rights. To have us known us 'birthing person' on forms, and 'menstruators' and 'cervix havers'. They've managed to remove female only spaces, and to force women in Scotland to go to court just to get a fucking definition of woman.

So what rights do you think they will lose? Every person has the same rights, so what rights do you think will be removed if people are treated as their biological sex?

As a far left Marxist I am sick and fucking tired of being aligned with trans issues. It fucking pisses me off no end to be lumped in with trans activists who wouldn't know a far left Marxist if one jumped up and bit them. Try questioning one on Marxist theory and you 'd be met with little more than a blank stare before they go back to their narrow minded bigoted view of the world. Don't even get me started on how they've purloined and bastardised the anti-facist movement.

This. Im an old school leftie. Im sick of people assuming this means I either support trans issues OR I align with the right on other issues. I don't do either, apart from when a stopped clock situation occurs.

ThatBlackCat · 20/09/2025 05:07

I wonder if the penny is dropping for @HerNeighbourTotoro ? That her fantasy idea of transwomen as harmless is delusional, gullible and misguided, and she doesn't actually know transwomen, we do. Just a read of the examples in this thread of how transwomen behave should 'peak' those like HerNeighbourTotoro.

Yep. None. Men who display their tranvestite fetish in public have precisely the same rights as normal men.
