Yup. Throws and fluffy socks on the go. And crumble for tea. Ready to hibernate.

SepticPegsSepticLeg · 14/09/2025 17:05

East mids. We "tested" our for half an hour this afternoon 😂😁. Bit fed up of being cold already

Tumbleweed101 · 14/09/2025 17:04

No, but after the hot summer here I have finally got out my warmer clothing as think I will be starting to need it. Was tempted earlier until I got up to do some jobs.

shellyleppard · 14/09/2025 17:04

Yep mine is on today..... trying to get the washing dry 😂

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 14/09/2025 17:04

We had ours on for a bit last night - NE Scotland.

Evaka · 14/09/2025 17:03

Yes, put it on this afternoon, just in one room. We bought the place in June so partly wanted to make sure it works as the boiler is 19 years old! Nice and toasty :)

TheBlackSheepbaaaa · 14/09/2025 17:03

Yes, it's been on for a couple of days here in West Yorkshire.

Newgolddream70 · 14/09/2025 17:02

19 here in my lounge but I’m not caving in yet. Got the big cardi out!

ElinorDashwood68 · 14/09/2025 17:02

Yes, since Friday. Central Scotland

muddyford · 14/09/2025 17:02

Tried it on Thursday for half an hour in the morning. It was lovely, so have repeated it each morning since. Only 6.15-6.45 though.

Petrolitis · 14/09/2025 17:01

Fire is going, but me and the cat are ill so we need it!

Createausername1970 · 14/09/2025 17:00

Ours is set to come on if the temperature drops below 13 degrees overnight or 17 degrees in the day.

It hasn't done that yet and I haven't felt the need to hit the "boost" button so far 😂

Hoodies, socks and slippers in the meantime, and a handy throw on the sofa to pull over me if I need it in the evening.

jettisoned · 14/09/2025 17:00

No it's 22° in the sitting room. Nowhere near cold enough yet. Plus despite all the rain, it's still summer.

DelphiniumBlue · 14/09/2025 17:00

I'm contemplating it.
I'm sitting here in my living room freezing but thermometer say 19 degrees, so feel I probably shouldn't yet.

tripleginandtonic · 14/09/2025 16:59

No but today's the first day I feel tempted

Devilsmommy · 14/09/2025 16:59

Yes, between 5&6 this morning to take the chill off and then a cheeky hour this afternoon 🤭 tempted to whack it on again because it's pouring down and the wind is making it🥶

BellyPork · 14/09/2025 16:57

Air con here in the South of Italy 😊

Oh 😂

Coffeeishot · 14/09/2025 16:58

GleisZwei · 14/09/2025 16:55

It's not remotely cold here (North of Scotland).

Edited

I am central Scotland and its cold where I am. I visited the parents and they had the hot water bottles on the go.

afaloren · 14/09/2025 16:57

Not the central heating but we’ve lit our first fire today.

StuffingMyNuts · 14/09/2025 16:57

We put the heating on for 10 minutes this morning but it’s a very well insulated house so had to turn it off quickly. Currently house is still 19 degrees so won’t turn it on again

BellyPork · 14/09/2025 16:57

Air con here in the South of Italy 😊

Imissgoldengrahams · 14/09/2025 16:57

I don't think there is a month where I don't have the heating on. (Scotland)

Kitchenbattle · 14/09/2025 16:56

No, my house is a new build, highly insulated and still too warm 😅

tulippa · 14/09/2025 16:56

No. Even though it's started to feel cold today. It's September and the heating doesn't go on until at least October in our house. We have lots of cosy blankets and thermals to use first.

Seawolves · 14/09/2025 16:55

It's set to come on at 21° we haven't hit that yet so no heating on yet.
