The Clooneys - is it real

Just that, they seem so deliriously in love in every picture I've seen of them.

More power to them if they are that happy, they've both hit the jackpot in so many ways.

But.. to still look so enthralled with each other after so many years??

My friend has met them. She applied for a post as their nanny. She said they were smashing. George answered the door himself and, frankly, if that’s not a banging start to an interview I can’t think what would be better.

Im not saying one way but youd be pretty dense to not know that some film stars are in the closet as the ones out as gay don't make the same bucks at the box office, and therefore stay in the closet and have fake girlfriends.

I can’t help admiring them. I was the right age to have a massive crush on him in ER (tbh I preferred Dr Greene but he is still exceptionally easy on the eye) and have intermittently read various highly angled interviews with him (confirmed bachelor, probably gay, never going to marry, oh he’s marrying a really interesting woman who’s also gorgeous). I have now got the clear impression that he does what the fuck he actually wants to do. More power to them both.

She was hugely successful and wealthy but i
doubt if it was private jet / unlimited money Hollywood film start wealthy

i mean if she hadn’t married George would she have able to afford the lifestyle she has no which is pretty much unlimited money

now she gets to continue her career and all the access to George money / fame

pretty sweet deal for her

and the twin wernt they IVF or rumour of that

also George has always played the leading man / lover in all of his films
he can’t exactly come out and say he is gay when he’s playing the ladies leading man

I hope so! Of course, most couples put on a good face in front of the cameras and they probably have the usual domestic couples niggles that we all have. But I've been married 35 years and would say I'm still very happy and in love. It's not that unusual is it?

Amal has it all going on; incredibly successful career, (a proper job not Hollywood), handsome film star husband and she is gorgeous looking, those legs and hair!

Why on earth would Amal, an absurdly successful human rights lawyer who has continued in this career and not attempted any kind of showbiz pivot, agree to be a beard? What possible benefit would she get from that?! She doesn’t need him!

I think he gets all the benefits in this relationship (and I’m sure he would agree!) in terms of social clout etc.

So perhaps they’re just a disgustingly attractive, successful couple who are in love. Enough to make my blood boil, tbh 😂

I honestly find this whole topic so boring. There’s a thread on this right now about Taylor Swift.

Why can famous people never just fall in love without the conspiracy theories? They’ve been together a decent amount of years, and they have children old enough to read shite on the internet.

Maybe give it a rest?

What is with this phenomenon where people are convinced that very famous people cannot be in real relationships? All these comments claiming George must be gay echo the ones on the Taylor Swift thread yesterday saying her relationship is a cover too? It's so strange that people think like this.

Taylor is definitely not doing it for publicity, why on earth would she.

I had read years ago that George has his eyes on politics and Amal was a good spouse to have for that for credibility. I think if he was interested in running for anything, he'd have at least ran for the Senate or something by now.

As long as they are both happy with their marriage that’s what counts. They seem to have a lovely life and I hope they’re happy behind the scenes. She seems like an intelligent and interesting person to be married to, lucky him!
