To be upset I lost my sons umbilical cord and some baby teeth?

Currently renovating house and I have misplaced (but possibly accidentally thrown away) a container containing my son’s umbilical cord clip which I’ve saved for years and some baby teeth. I still have some of his milk teeth in his first tooth/first curl box but I stupidly didn’t put the others in there. Spent ages looking all over the house for them, everywhere I can think of and cannot find them. I have his siblings’ things still. Realistically is this going to bother him or me in the future or am I just hormonal (am currently pregnant) and massively overthinking things?

I kept the first tooth my son lost. I forgot all about it until one day I opened a wee box in my dressing table drawer and got a real fright seeing a blooming tooth in there. Made me feel a bit queasy tbh. I remember wondering why I'd actually kept this.
Can't even imagine how I'd have reacted to coming across a bit of umbilical cord!

I didn’t keep and didn’t consider keeping things like this . My children are adults now and not at all traumatised by me not being able to present them with old teeth and dried out cord . Thinking about it I would be traumatised if my mother presented me with these though !

Put yourself in his shoes - what would you do with a pot of your own teeth and your own dried up umbilical cord now you are in your 20/30/40s? I'm sure he won't mind!

You are definitely overthinking, no idea where my DD’s stuff ended up, moved multiple times, split up from exh so he could have that box, he is keeping the photos safe in his attic because we decided I was more likely to loose them !

I feel for the poor sod that comes across this when you sell your house!
