That'd be cool even in Winter and people still want to use the outdoor area.

The ones near me do, if you ask at the bar!

incognitomouse · 26/08/2025 13:33

I've not been to a pub that doesn't!

Darragon · 26/08/2025 13:32

I voted YABU because 2008 was the last time I couldn't get a coffee in a pub.

CoastalCalm · 26/08/2025 13:31

I used to quite often get a glass of milk too

Needmorelego · 26/08/2025 13:31

I love threads like this. So amusing.
Suggestions of things that are so normal and already exist. It's like the "handy hints" page of Take a Break.😂

Thebigonesgetaway · 26/08/2025 13:31

I don’t think I’ve ever been in a pub that doesn’t sell tea or coffee.

DisplayPurposesOnly · 26/08/2025 13:29

I've been ordering coffee in pubs since the 1980s

Sidebeforeself · 26/08/2025 13:28

I dont think this is quite the gap in the market that you think it is OP!

ohbee · 26/08/2025 13:27

Even back in the 90s before we had chain coffee shops and all the independents were greasy spoons I was serving tea and coffee in pubs I worked in. Where are you that it isn’t available?

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 26/08/2025 13:27

Trickabrick · 26/08/2025 13:23

They do!

Yes, only the other day I heard someone order a pint of Tetley's in a pub.

5foot5 · 26/08/2025 13:26

Most have done this for years!

princessofdarknesss · 26/08/2025 13:24

Dont think I've ever been into a pub that doesnt!

AnastasiaCrumpet · 26/08/2025 13:24

They frequently do.

SnailPail · 26/08/2025 13:24

Most pubs do now serve tea and coffee.

I worked in a pub in the mid-to-late 1990s and it served coffee, so it’s not a new thing.

notacooldad · 26/08/2025 13:24

Many do.
My friend always preferes a cup of coffee in the regular pubs we go to, not the ones that normally sell food.

Noras · 26/08/2025 13:24

Yes as more and more people are drinking less alcohol.

KelsCommemorativeSausage · 26/08/2025 13:24

They do. I have a coffee in Wetherspoons regularly.

Catpiece · 26/08/2025 13:24

No.

OrangeBlossomsinthesun · 26/08/2025 13:24

Don't they? (i haven't lived in the UK for 25 years)

InOverMyHead84 · 26/08/2025 13:24

They do already in most pubs...

Or am I missing something here?

Moonmelodies · 26/08/2025 13:23

Most of them do.

Trickabrick · 26/08/2025 13:23

They do!
