The school run is a hotbed of lesbian sex?

According to an article in the Times I read today. Apparently everybody’s bed hopping and snogging on nights out and in the garden centre.

Is this true? I didn’t get a hint of it when I was doing school runs though one mum did throw out her nice husband and move another mum’s scruffy husband in.

That was about five years ago. So did is this new or did I miss out on the undercurrents ( and is that why the PTA mums were so very mean girls in their clique) or has this been grossly exaggerated?

As a bi, most lesbians I know aren't crude at all. These ones don't sound typical.

Lol! I am a lesbian myself with many lesbian friends and acquaintances over the years, and can assure you that lesbians can be every bit as crude as any other sexuality/permutation! Maybe you just know some very reserved ones! 😂

I read this and it took me back a couple of years to an incident that started outside our school gate, two mums, one 33 and the other 42 had hit it off and were meeting up after the drop-off for some steamy coffee sessions! But one day 42 year olds husband came back early and caught them! So there was a fuss made & for a few weeks this is all everybody would talk about at the gate. It ended in a messy divorce.
So it seems like they are still together now, three years later!

This is all rife in my experience in schools I’ve taught in. At the last school I was in, there was a lunchtime discussion in my large department office between male and lesbian staff members about which ‘MILFs’ they were looking forward to seeing at Parents’ Night that evening…

Trust me, the stories I could tell about what teachers get up to… I could write a book!

Oh really? Please drop the manuscript here, I'll proof read it for you for free.

Bloody hell , and there I am in the garden centre eating cake and drinking coffee while wondering what I’m planting next

I’m surprised they have the time given the amount of time the papers seem to think they spend snorting cocaine

😂😂😂

ImGoneUnderground · 23/08/2025 22:42

Oh, it was The Times - must be true then....🤔

ImGoneUnderground · 23/08/2025 22:39

I guess I’m not as attractive as I’d hoped, I’ve never been propositioned by a potential lesbian sex buddy on the school run 🎻

I did get a hand delivered invitation to the village swingers club mind

“The village swingers club”

oh the visions!

See, now I feel like I have really missed out in life. I don't think anyone has ever brought me post-coital cake...

You clearly need to start sleeping with women! 🧁🔥🍰😉

That's because it's still school holidays. You wait until September.

Its been 20 years since I did a school run but I have noticed a sea change in sexual attitudes where I work.
On our last works night out (all young professionals except me) the girls were snogging the faces off each other.......and they all have boyfriends.

Surely that's just to titillate their boyfriends? Or drunken messing? Could easily have happened 20 or 30 years ago.

When my eldest started school, myself and another mum was outcast from the mums groups. This went on through primary and when they got to highschool we all thought the clique would fizzle out. Turns out the queen bee wannabe had affairs with three of the mums and one of the dads. They’d all hang out and get drunk together and clearly it was a very close friends group.

Their teens and mine remained friends through school and it was the kids who let on about QBW and her frivolous ways with their mothers. Her poor husband suspected a single affair with the husband of one of the mums (according to their eldest child) but it was actually the mum she was banging. 😂😂

They were all horrible stuck up judgmental people so I loved that their kids gossiped about this 😂

Obviously everyone knows the P(ussy)T(its)A(rse) WhatsApp is practically tinder for horny mums with a fondness for an overpriced scone 🙄

Damn, I'd have joined if I'd realised that.

deydododatdodontdeydo · 21/08/2025 09:33

These people live in a completely different (fantasy) world to me.
Either that or I'm clueless and oblivious to what's going on.

CrispySquid · 21/08/2025 09:26

I don’t really know what’s got into newspapers lately. Along the same lines, the Daily Mail for the last two years has continually put out stories of “yummy mummys” in the Cotswolds always doing cocaine and bed hopping/swinging/frequenting sex parties and that ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE WITHOUT EXCEPTION IS AT IT.

RedToothBrush · 21/08/2025 09:22

Someone wrote their fantasy and the Times decided to publish it, knowing it's getting a lot of clicks from blokes and MNetters.

It's clearly bollocks.

No idea but "and in the garden centre" made me laugh, thanks. The school events committee asking for any availability in the group chat might not be all it seems.

😂

LlynTegid · 21/08/2025 09:15

I feel old. I can remember when The Times was a decent paper, even though edited by a Mr Rees-Mogg (dad not the son who supported the treasonous suspension of Parliament).
