Like this?

I went today without really realising how bad they were until I got there. I live by a beach, not on holidays and just rushed there after work
Now i’m looking at them like 😮
I feel like no one I know would do this

I wouldn't let mine get like that in the first place. I've let my shaving standards slip but I still do it once a week.

Once a week? 52 times a year? over how many years? have you ever added up all the wasted time that represents!? How awful that anyone feels this is necessary. It isn't a "standard"-it is a tyranny.

I probably would, but my hair is blonde so they don’t show so much.

However, my legs usually look like woman’s legs…. a woman who shaves her legs, legs.

PosiePerkinPootleFlump · 17/08/2025 17:31

I would and, having also been to the beach today, I did

catsareace · 17/08/2025 17:30

Not a chance sorry.

Do you mean mine don’t? Probably misunderstanding 😅

No, you asked, would I go to the beach with legs that look like this, then should a pair of perfectly normal women's legs. So I said yes, I go anywhere and everywhere with legs that look like perfectly normal woman's legs

Flomingho · 17/08/2025 17:29

Seen far hairier legs than this on beaches and in swimming pools. Don't worry about it.

Owly11 · 17/08/2025 17:28

They look fine! I went to the beach today and thought I had shaved my legs but saw that I had missed the whole front of one shin! I doubt anyone can even see the hair.

ConflictofInterest · 17/08/2025 17:28

Yes, and I do regularly. I think times are changing. My leg hair is blonde but I don't shave it and I'm a regular swimmer and I cant say I've I've noticed anyone else noticing, I couldn't tell you what anyone else's legs look like either. Of course it's a good thing, not only does it save time and money for more important things, there's no spikes, my legs are soft

As a woman would I go to the beach with legs that look like woman's legs? Yes, my legs have always looked like woman's legs, and always will

I absolutely do. I wear skirts and shorts all summer with hairy legs, no one gives a shit. I sometimes shave for weddings and christenings. I hate having stubbly legs so that's why I don't shave very often. Hairy is much softer than stubbly.

Personally no, but I shave daily- apart from 5 days before a holiday 😆(don’t ask).

That seems so much like hard work
I do much prefer having halr free legs though-for myself..think i’m getting lazy

Wouldnt have when younger.

Late thirties now and find myself caring less and less.

I'd go to the beach, but not if going with people I know

Yachtingaroundtheworldiwish · 17/08/2025 17:27

No one cares, or even gets close enough to see.

minipie · 17/08/2025 17:26

I would only care if I was 1) meeting a group of friends who were likely to be very groomed or 2) on the pull.

Otherwise, nope. Those are normal legs, as nature intended.

Willyoujust · 17/08/2025 17:26

Who gives a fuck

Absolutely I would.

bridgetreilly · 17/08/2025 17:24

It’s definitely a good thing!

Spicyprawnsitisthen · 17/08/2025 17:23

Even with having Dh there..I just don’t seem to care that much anymore 🙈same as a pp, a few years back I would never have…not sure if it’s a good or bad thing

I just got back from a lovely UK beach holiday and I honestly can't remember a single person who was on the beach all week with me. My eyes were fixed on my kids, the lovely sunset, the fish in the rock pools, my feet in the sand. People don't look at other people when they're busy on the beach, they are far too busy surfing, reading or swimming etc.

crazeekat · 17/08/2025 17:21

No normal person is looking at them

AlpacaMittens · 17/08/2025 17:19

I would and I've done it and would easily do it again.

Also I have very dark hair!
