Like this?

I went today without really realising how bad they were until I got there. I live by a beach, not on holidays and just rushed there after work
Now i’m looking at them like 😮
I feel like no one I know would do this

Meh. My legs aren't particularly hairy but I couldn't really give a shit.

ScupperedbytheSea · 17/08/2025 18:24

Absolutely. I have a wax every six weeks and just let the hair grow in between.

I like having hair free legs, but also don't mind being fluffy in between.

It took me while to get used to being unshaven, but now find it liberating.

SaltyCara · 17/08/2025 18:23

I have just been to an EXTREMELY posh spa (where I not only bobbed around the general hydrotherapy pool/sauna/steam room, but also had a full body massage including, naturally, my legs) with legs that looked like that. No one batted an eyelid. Hair isn't unhygienic. It's normal and natural. If you want to remove it then crack on but if you don't that's perfectly fine.

overmydeadbody · 17/08/2025 18:20

I live by the beach. I go almost daily. Never an I close enough to strangers to see their leg hair. I would not shave for a beach trip, no one notices, no one can see. And if they could, it doesn't actually matter.

Rituelec · 17/08/2025 18:20

Yes. I would and do.

heavenstruck · 17/08/2025 18:19

I would and have. No one cares

doodleschnoodle · 17/08/2025 18:16

I wouldn’t choose to but I wouldn’t notice if someone else did and if I was in an impromptu legs out situation and hadn’t shaved then I would still carry on, depending on the venue! But I do much prefer a smooth leg when they are visible. It wouldn’t register with me what someone else’s legs looked like though unless it was yeti levels.

TheChosenTwo · 17/08/2025 18:15

I swim outdoors all year round and I can
tell you that while people may notice literally no one will give a shit about your hairy legs.
I tend to shave mine twice a week during the summer but during the winter it’s a rare
occasion and I still get my legs out to swim.

Wtafdidido · 17/08/2025 18:14

Yes because I don’t give a shite what some random strangers think of me or my body and nor should you. Why let a random suck the joy out of your life or stop you doing the things you enjoy? I’m dying though so see the world a lot clearer these days

fiorentina · 17/08/2025 18:14

No, I shave my legs every other day so they wouldn’t be like that, but each to their own.

LazySunbedDays · 17/08/2025 18:13

LizzyEm · 17/08/2025 17:29

I wouldn't let mine get like that in the first place. I've let my shaving standards slip but I still do it once a week.

Mine are like that at the 7 day point!

I was sat in the garden today and realised mine are pretty similar to OP but I’ve been in shorts all week and been to the shops, walked the dog etc.
I have zero fucks to give what anyone else thinks, more interested in how my legs appearance impact their life!

MrsShawnSpencer · 17/08/2025 18:10

Mine today, I'm in short shorts 😂 I'm not on the beach, but I've been to the supermarket and for a walk. Im in my 40s, it's hot, I give no fucks anymore

polkadothorse · 17/08/2025 18:10

No I wouldn’t, but would not judge another woman’s choices.
I wouldn’t let my legs get as hairy as that, but again my choice.
It’s easier to rub in body moisturiser on smooth legs.

SqueamishHamish · 17/08/2025 18:09

Nope, couldn't care less! Enjoy the beach!

PeonyBulb · 17/08/2025 18:07

No one will get close enough to notice

redlightgreenlight123 · 17/08/2025 18:06

Had my hairy legs and fully grown armpit hair on display today. No fucks we’re given.

MsTamborineMan · 17/08/2025 18:06

Yes of course. It's just hair.

Even if you prefer shaved legs it's still just leg hair. Nothing embarassing or unkempt about normal body hair. If theres anyone who a ) notices enough to process and b) cares , you know they're a knob so why would you place any stock on their opinion?

RitaFromThePitCanteen · 17/08/2025 18:05

Men go to the beach with hairy legs all the time. It's sad that society has conditioned women to think that our bodies are inherently wrong and shameful unless we do all sorts of alterations to them first.

katepilar · 17/08/2025 18:04

Yes, withoug a wink.

Jackiepumpkinhead · 17/08/2025 18:01

No

Fenellasbum · 17/08/2025 18:00

I wouldn’t give any fucks.

Tedsnan1 · 17/08/2025 17:59

Yes, why not?

fruitfly3 · 17/08/2025 17:58

My son asked why my legs were growing ‘cactus spikes’ this morning, so clearly I would 😆

DramaAlpaca · 17/08/2025 17:55

I wouldn't care, tbh. I'm postmenopausal now and after years of epilating my leg hairs seem to have given up and stopped growing, so it really wouldn't bother me.

WinterOnItsWayOut · 17/08/2025 17:54

No, but then I’ve waxed/epilady’d for 35 years and they don’t grow any more (well other than my toes and knees 🤨) which are removed in seconds with the epilady every month or so.

However, that said, I don’t judge others who do go au naturel as it’s all personal choice. And I don’t tend to be looking that closely anyway….
