To be sick of the royal propaganda the UK is fed?

I know most people don’t give a damn about the Windsors any more .

However , in a week when we learn about Philip’s affairs - notably with Sarah Ferguson’s mother ( all covered up of course like the rest of their debachery) we are now expected to swallow the line that William and Kate’s next mansion is ‘paid for by William and Kate themselves ‘

No . That’s not the complete truth .Every penny the Windsors have , they have taken from the people . We now know William and Charles make millions from public services like the NHS schools and charities . We only know about this as a result of dogged journalistic digging . And most of the mainstream media barely covered the scandal .

There are many threads here about how the UK is in steep decline and how people are suffering . Yet the royals are taking in half a billion a year and charging charities on top !

At least admit to us that all their money is stolen from us ?

Oh and if you haven’t heard the queen knew all about Andrew pocketing money via ‘pitch at the palace’

She was told repeatedly by officials . She did nothing
Can we have some facts please ?
The Windsors are a total facade - they are all like Andrew - he’s just the latest fall guy .

Were you in the room with her whilst she was giving birth? I'm quite sure the last thing any woman would want whilst in labour would be someone faffing about with their hair, not to mention what the midwife/doctor would have to say.

I'm not able/won't say what my role with her was.
But I will say that I am speaking in facts. I'm not making it up.

They were doing her make up and hair in early stages of labour and while all the world press were waiting outside for the baby to come out, Kate was with her entire team including dressers, make up artist, hairdresser etc, making sure she was camera ready just mere hours after giving birth.

They almost constantly have a team of people with them.

And how old was Andrew? An adult with a child is never excusable.

And it's a bit of a stretch to call it a "relationship"
It was a fuck. A coerced fuck at that

While it does not make him an actual paedophile (pre pubescent children) it does make him a rapist and peice of shit.

Catsinaflat · 17/08/2025 19:44

Fergie’s mum and Philip was old news. Think it came out in the 80s when she married Andrew.

Are you asking me what jobs the aristocracy could do if the state took back all the money and land they have taken from the people and they needed to work for a living like the rest of us?

Onlyfans or Deliveroo bike couriers I guess if their expensive educations didn’t provide them with any skills or knowledge they could use to earn some cash. I wouldn’t be losing any sleep over it personally.

Cantheowneroftheredcorsapleasemovetheircar · 17/08/2025 19:39

The problem is, the royals entire existence - everything they know, everything they were brought up with, everything their parents knew, going way way back, has relied on people loving them and believing in them. That's their whole thing. There are 100s of people working on just that - their image, and making sure enough people like them to survive.
Sometimes those people working around them decide that there needs to be a sacrifice and it's usually a woman who is high-ranking enough for people to care about her, but low-ranking enough for it not to really matter what happens to her. So it could never be Diana, the people had to love Diana, but it could be Sarah, as the wife of the second son, she was the perfect scapegoat, so the press vilified her and begged up Diana. Are we seeing a pattern here?

Trouble is, Prince Charles, as was, was obsessed with Camilla and needed her so desperatly as a lover and a mother figure to him, he clung to her and refused to let go and it caused a huge problem because they had bigged up Diana so much that everyone adored her to almost reverent proportions and when she died, she practically became a saint. So now they had a partner/wife of a future King that noone was going to love and adore as much as they needed to and the plan they had with Diana had gone to absolute shit.

They needed a SERIOUS scapegoat to take the heat of Camilla and also make Kate look good, ready for when she took over. Not just a bit of deflection like with Sarah and Diana, but they needed someone for the public to absolutely despise before they could ever make people accept Camilla at all, never mind like her.

This was always going to be the wife of the second son, just like before, so Harry's wife. No matter who she was. If it had been Chelsy, it would have been her. But it was Meghan and her being mixed race and American just made it all so easy for them.

Then Harry, as I said, made an understandable mistake by whisking her away from it all, and made it all even easier for them.

Noone cares about the evil marriage stealing "other woman" Camilla any more. Meghan is much more easier and fun to hate and the press had all the highly experienced and intelligent, gaslighted spin doctors working with them will continue to play on that. It will never let up.

And Harry really doesn't know how to manage it, and has no one to help him. He acts on his heart and doesn't think like the manipulators around him. He can't out maneuvered them. He'll never win and he knows it. I honestly feel so sorry for him, he never stood a chance, no matter how much good he did in the army, with invictus games, how much he was adored before as a cheeky chappie, he had a role to play to ensure survival of more important people and they were going to make damn sure he played it, even kicking and screaming.

It's toxic, it's unhealthy, its dangerous, it's cruel but here's the second problem - every single one of them beleives with all their hearts that the monarchy will and should last forever and ever and they have absolutely no back up plan. No alternative. It's this or nothing. Even if they don't want it or like it, it's their destiny and their lot and it's all they have. So it will go on and on and on until the modern day Robspiere appears and puts a stop to it, I guess.

These people are bleeding the country of money so they can live a life of luxury whilst doing fuck all and what gets people going is bitching about Kate’s hair and makeup when she’s had cancer. Ffs.

I couldn’t care less if William is angry or Charles is autistic, they are obviously an unhappy bunch and should sack it off and leave us be. I think the other aristos won’t let them though as it’s not just the royal family, but the whole lot of the parasitical class that need to pay their tax, give back whatever they stole from our ancestors and fuck off and get real jobs.

Which jobs do you think they could do please?

It's the fact that they could possibly (in their own eyes anyway) catch a glimpse that's such a massive draw for them.
Look how many people line the streets when there's a royal event. A mere glimpse of one of them passing by, or a handshake with one of them means the world to a hell of a lot of people, thousands are willing to wait for hours on end just for the chance.
I don't know why, but they do.
Our palaces would have to be a hell of a lot more impressive to match that level of adoration.

Does anyone really, really they're going to catch a glimpse of any of them, really? Nonsense. Those crowds are getting less and less crowd like. The palaces could generate a massive amount of revenue if they were open to the public.

2dogsandabudgie · 17/08/2025 19:09

Cantheowner - So having claimed to have worked with the royal family not only do you see yourself as a mindreader able to read Camilla's thoughts " she loves Charles but not in a romantic way" but you're also able to make a medical diagnosis about King Charles. Laughable really.

Princess Catherine has been seriously unwell. Do you talk about your friends and family in this way when they're in recovery from cancer? What the hell is wrong with you all?

No I don't. I expressed myself poorly. I object to the propaganda which must be unpleasant for her too.

At least a President would be voted for.

That hardly fills me with confidence. Look at the current shit show the great British public voted in.

Futurehappiness · 17/08/2025 19:05

It was really disappointing that W&K could not be bothered to interrupt their holiday to attend the VJ commemoration....instead they got their staff to post a brief online 'Lest we forget' message.

I find that offensive but the worst thing is that nobody is surprised as we have been well & truly trained to have low expectations of them.

Cantheowneroftheredcorsapleasemovetheircar · 17/08/2025 18:07

I don't know if she is using a hair piece but she does have her own private hairdresser and make-up artist that do her hair and make up almost every single day and sometimes several times a day if she is going to be public facing.
They were doing her hair and make up for her while she was in labour and then again after she had given birth.

Were you in the room with her whilst she was giving birth? I'm quite sure the last thing any woman would want whilst in labour would be someone faffing about with their hair, not to mention what the midwife/doctor would have to say.

There are 1000's of tourists in the country at the moment. I just don't believe they are all drawn to the UK on the off chance that they would catch sight of a Royal.

There is also evidence that the crowd numbers are declining, and the Royals are regularly greeted by anti-monarchy protesters these days.

It's so obvious that M was the scapegoat & as you say any person in her place would be. It's very depressing though that the public lapped it up.

Chelsey Davy knew it. She was advised not to marry Harry by a lot of people because of it and she chose to listen. From what I was told, hef father asked Harry not to propose as he didn't want to see it happen to her.

Meghan was advised the same thing by a lot of people, even Harry had to lay it out for her, but she simply didn't get it didn't think it would be that bad, and had that very American "everything will be fine, have gun, will travel" attitude and a reasonably immature "all you need is love, us against the world" kind of attitude to it all so she married him.
He left very guilty for what happened to her and it was very much him that wanted to take her away. I honestly think she would have stuck in Britain and continued believing that things would work out alright until she could no longer take any more and left him or.... worse.

It really is awful how much that couple have been used and abused and this is just what I know. There will be a tonne of worse things that only the most inner circle will ever know.

I don't agree. How many tourists actually clap eyes on a member of the RF when they come to the country? And it's just Buckingham Palace that could be opened in its entirety, with all its priceless artefacts and works of art, there's Windsor Castle and every other royal residence.

Yes, but let's be honest, Buckingham palace has got nothing on Versailles.

Versailles is breath-taking, Buckingham palace is kind of meh in comparison.

People do like the fact that there is a living breathing royal family in there. They want to see the changing of the guard ceremony, the royal weddings, the funerals, the babies on the steps of the hospitals, the trooping of the colour etc. An empty English palace is going to get old very quickly.

The whole 'they bring in x billions to the country' is a load of crap. If they weren't here tourism wouldn't die, look at France for God's sake, Versailles is the most visited palace in Europe.

I just can't wrap my head around the fact that in the 21st century we still have people who are regarded as our superiors, purely because of the vagina they came out of or the person they married. Absolute piece of bloody nonsense.

have worked with most of the current royal family and very briefly with the late Queen and here are my observations

William - He is a very angry man. The pressure on him to maintain a constant public persona as the quiet, sensible one is immense and has resulted in him bottling things up since a young age, until they overflow and burst out of him like a volcano. This is usually directed at his friends and family (never Kate or the kids) but sometimes at member of the public or the press He's actually had quite a lot of therapy to try and sort this, mostly encouraged by Charles.
s for who he really is - he's not actually as quiet and sensible as you're lead to believe. He loves a joke, he's got a great sense of humour and he loved to party just as much as Harry in his younger years, don't be fooled.

Kate - She's kind to the staff and she loves children and is a very good mother. But she has massive internalised misogyny and basically hates all women. She sees them all as competition and threats. She's extremely close to her mother and is basically joined at the hip with her.

The King - He's extremely intelligent. Waaay more than he's given credit for. He's actually wasted as King IMO. He's also very soft, gentle and kind hearted. He feels everything very deeply. But the thing that really gets me is that he is so very clearly autistic and the press and wider world never seem to comment on it or notice it. His routines are set in stone down to the minute and he absolutely can not handle any little change. That temper tantrum over the pen wasn't just an entitled King throwing a strop. It was an autistic meltdown and everyone around him knew it. It baffles me how people can't take one look at him and see it.

Queen Camilla - She's basically Charles's carer. He requires a hell of a lot of help and support. He's unorganised and bumbling most of the time and he really needs her, he clings to her like a life raft. She loves him but not in a romantic way. She basically has quite a tough job and sees it as her right to claim the benefits of that job. She's alright to talk to but I'd say she's the most stand-offish of the lot of them and she drinks the most amount of coffee I have ever known anyone to drink.

Prince Andrew - Everything you would expect and more. Awful, horrible, nasty man. No good qualities whatsoever, except perhaps he does love his daughters. He treated Sarah like she should have kissed his feet every day in gratitude, when he bothered to pay her any attention at all (that last bit was before my time, but one hears things from people that know)

And now the ones that no one will believe me on:

Harry and Meghan - For the love of god, that woman can't do anything right in the eyes of the world, the public, the press or Harry's family. Kate didn't like her from the minute she heard she existed, William didn't like her from the moment he laid eyes on her. She, or any woman Harry married, was always going to be used as a scapegoat to take any negative attention off Camilla and Kate. Society loves to hate a woman and the people around the royals know this. They needed a woman to throw to the wolves to make Camilla and Kate look amazing by comparison and it was always going to be Harry's wife, no matter who she was.
But Harry, and it absolutely was Harry, not Meghan, who was the driving force between leaving the country and the family, made a huge mistake leaving and coming out with everything he has come out with because all that did was make everything worse for them. They made the Royal family look worse and so they had to make Meghan look worse in order to compensate for that. And it was always going to Meghan that took the hit because she's a woman and because they are still extremely old fashioned in their beliefs about pure bloodlines and looking perfect - they couldn't possibly slag off Harry as much as the evil dark-skinned American who corrupted our prince, yes, it must have been her.
I'm not saying she's perfect, she's not. But she's just an ordinary American woman quite honestly. She's an actress so she's confident, and she's got that loud, slightly over confident manner that a lot of Americans do have compared to the Brits, but she does have a good heart and she does love Harry and the kids (and yes, the kids are real) she'd have to, frankly, to stick around as long as she has with all the crap that's thrown at her daily.

So there you go - if you wanted to know that's them. They're imperfect people, they're a bit of a messy family, but they are pretty much the same as the rest of us with a lot of wealth, privilege and expectations put on them that no-one else in the entire country has.

Really interesting
Particularly the comment about Charles being autistic

It keeps getting repeated that Diana didn’t meet Hewitt until after the birth of Harry. But how do we know for certain? She mixed in circles where Hewitt was employed.
Sometimes a view is repeated so often until it is accepted as a true fact.

And sometimes a lie can run three times around the world before the truth has a chance to put its socks on (misquoted from the late lamented Terry Pratchett).
