To be sick of the royal propaganda the UK is fed?

I know most people don’t give a damn about the Windsors any more .

However , in a week when we learn about Philip’s affairs - notably with Sarah Ferguson’s mother ( all covered up of course like the rest of their debachery) we are now expected to swallow the line that William and Kate’s next mansion is ‘paid for by William and Kate themselves ‘

No . That’s not the complete truth .Every penny the Windsors have , they have taken from the people . We now know William and Charles make millions from public services like the NHS schools and charities . We only know about this as a result of dogged journalistic digging . And most of the mainstream media barely covered the scandal .

There are many threads here about how the UK is in steep decline and how people are suffering . Yet the royals are taking in half a billion a year and charging charities on top !

At least admit to us that all their money is stolen from us ?

Oh and if you haven’t heard the queen knew all about Andrew pocketing money via ‘pitch at the palace’

She was told repeatedly by officials . She did nothing
Can we have some facts please ?
The Windsors are a total facade - they are all like Andrew - he’s just the latest fall guy .

Yes, and in return the Crown Estate pays £5Bn (Five Billion Pounds) to the Government. Seems a good exchange to me.

Cheap at the price since even republics have to pay their Head of State and I bet Trump and the other POTUSs cost the US taxpayer a damn sight more than the House of Windsor costs the UK. Ditto Macron in France.

But for better or worse Trump and Macron are also political leaders, driving the political agendas of their respective countries and playing important roles internationally. Trump is also Commander in Chief of the world’s most powerful military (I try not to dwell on this).

Ukisgaslit · 18/08/2025 11:43

@HerewardtheSleepy

You have swallowed the propaganda

WE own the crown estate .
The Windsors are taking not giving

Its depressing how often this has to be corrected though I agree the name should be changed for clarity’s sake

That’s royal PR central !

And I strongly believe the money taken from us by the Windsors affects every single one of us - cuts to schools hospitals services for the disabled - yet the Windsors take more and more each year

Half a billion a year and growing

I'd find it hard. All that attention and having to look perfectly groomed, public speaking - nightmare!

Yeah but you would have hairdresser,s and people choosing your outfits ,doing your makeup, people writing speeches for you ,and teaching you about public speaking ,it's not really work.

Ukisgaslit · 18/08/2025 10:11

Sorry that was so long!

Re The Windsors and charities - that was always a scam
When did so called royalty transition from incest and murder to pretend to be benevolent?
Im not sure but I know in the 20th century they felt the wind of change ( they abandoned their relatives to their fate - ‘nothing to do with us !’)
Put your name on a charity and steal the good works of others to prop up the facade was the scam .
It’s the lies that I am sickened by - the constant PR that they are good and special while - well we know don’t we-
Elizabeth and Philip were a lie for decades. Philip slept around but the publicity was always ‘the perfect marriage - an example to us all of duty and dedication’

Now we know the Windsors will be a patron of a charity while also charging said charity to operate !
The charity scam has run its course plus William is too lazy to visit them so now it’s ’ lets make vague promises to solve homelessness and protect the environment ( two areas where the Windsors are vulnerable to criticism )
Holiday constantly - but say you are saving the environment
Own multiple houses ( we own 90% of them - but we pay for all of them to be maintained ) but set yourself up as a campaigner for homelessness

It’s a transparent attempt to deflect criticism.
Id say they need a new line but I don’t think William cares much what anyone thinks of him.
They don’t interact with the public - it’s all shipped in primary school children or better yet - an instagram reel - can’t be heckled on insta !
He’ll only care if there’s talk of cutting his take from the taxpayer

Don't some of them run Art Galleries or something?

Maybe ,but i doubt they actually do very much other than swan around
People always compliment Princess Anne for her work ethics and yes whilst she does fi more than most of them she's hardly doing a grueling shift in a factory, as a nurse in a shop etc is she
Being chauffeured to a couple of functions every day is hardly what I would call hard work.

Laughing to myself at the thought of various Royals actually putting in a days work.

My highly capable and highly educated daughter has just found a job after a year of trying. Rubbish pay, no chance of ever buying property.

What do they actually " do" Fuck all.

I know, how exhausting it must be to get everything done for you, everything paid for you, cut the odd ribbon and fly around in private planes. Now where's my teeny tiny violin.

If you are speaking to me. I am speaking from my own personal eyewitness experiences.

I was making a general point about them. Wasn't commenting on your comments.

I reckon the current lot actually hope for a bored and indifferent public going forward, then they can do as little as they like, but keep the privileges. They are rather boring themselves, so I'd say they are hoping it will rub off on the rest of us.

@Cantheowneroftheredcorsapleasemovetheircar does William actually want to be King?

I mean he may want to he a helicopter pilot/ farmer/ fireman whatever but I bet he sure as shit doesn't want to live on their incomes! I would imagine he sees his Aristo mates having to sell their homes to the National trust because they can't fix the roof and doesn't want that either!

So you’re basing this all on one source? Or am I wrong? If you are then I’m sorry that is not good enough to form an opinion from. As a Historian you need multiple sources from various authors which have different purposes for being written, dates, nature and origin.

He absolutely is, and so is Prince Louis

So you're actually saying it's a fact that KC and Prince Louis are autistic. Surely you're in breach of your employment confidentiality agreement by saying this.

CathyorClaire · 17/08/2025 20:40

I am not much of a fan of K Charles either, but nobody has ever accused him of being lazy.

I have posted these links recently but they're worth repeating here:

'Part time King' Charles works just seven weeks in a year

Whole shebang together generously put in about six month's fulltime pa:

@Cantheowneroftheredcorsapleasemovetheircar does William actually want to be King?

It's not quite as black and white as that.

It's more like an inevitable thing for him that he's always known would happen since he can remember. It's part of him, it's in his very psyche. Its in his name, in the very way that he is addressed by the majority of people. It's the entire reason he was conceived and exists. It's LITERALLY what he was born to do.

It's almost like knowing that one day we will die. Obviously this isn't as morbid and final as that but it just is what it is and noone, least of all him, ever really thinks about whether he wants it or not, just how he's going to manage it and do his best at it I guess.

As I said, they all absolutely beleive this is their destiny and birthright and duty and will go on for ever and ever. No back up plan exists. It's an inevitable road to go down and he's travelling it fast.

you absolutely can't say either of them are Autistic paticularly, prince Louis, he's a small child who the public have seen a handful of times, why would you wish a disability on him?
