Pizza Express "new recipe" chicken goujons. WTF?

I was expecting chicken strips in breadcrumbs, I got 6 chicken mcNuggets with a pesto dip at the grand price of £8.75.🤯

They were not strips of chicken. They were the cheapest, reconstituted and reformed meat in a nasty batter. The kind you get in budget shops for £1.50 a kilo.

If this is the new recipe how nasty was the old one?

YABU. Last time I've seen a Pizza Express was 18 years ago, in 2007.

I don't live in the UK but if I was visiting I wouldn't go to a place called Pizza Express in search of a quality meal. Are they known for serving healthy options?

I’ve not been in a Pixza Express for 15 years, but I’m giving you a wee boost here for responses, because I love your anger at their chicken change. Four hours later and still angry, I love it!
