You have to think carefully, REALLY carefully, about whose ear to drop the information into. Not as gossip. More as concern really. I also managed to get someone dodgy sacked this way. Spent a month considering WHO I should pass the info on to.

Has to be someone you're on a level of daily chat with. BUT also someone who has the ear of someone higher up, or in a sort of chain, leading to someone higher up.

I've done it 3 times now in different organisations.

The individual concerned had been schmoozing management BIG TIME, trying to ensure they got the promotion that 3 of us were going for through nefarious means. IF they had genuinely been the best for the job, that would have been OK. But they weren't. I wasn't either, to be fair (I just wanted it!). I was quite happy with the person that actually got it. They were very enthusiastic and a good choice.

I didn't actually know that time that my sounding off to someone would result in X not getting the job. BUT it did teach me a lesson about how to have an influence without putting myself in the line of fire.

a friend previously when first got married around 12 years ago, was pure straight mono or monogus ? cannot spell, anyway seems since her other half has Ed and was chatting to another woman , so now it seems the friend is considering it open field to play around so to speak.

Two neighbours from very well respected families having an affair

One of the husbands attends bingo so they used this as a great opportunity

The sad ending Is the one of them is now out on the street and she had to leave her kids behind

They are very young

It's a pretty shit thing to do

@Dippythedino same here - I’ve not seen any evidence in my current office of anything going on but it’s always in the back of my mind and I think I watch when I’m at staff parties. At my last place they were very strict about not have an undisclosed relationship with a colleague however after one staff party used condoms were found in office in a bin. Full sight of everyone coming in the next day! 🤢🤢

Prior to that I was somewhere where one morning there were suspect looking hairs on my colleagues desk. I am sure they were pubes. God only knows whose arsehole was rubbing against that surface.

With all these posts about office workers shagging their bosses, whenever I'm on the tube I do wonder which commuter is also shagging their boss or having an affair. I've come to the conclusion that a large percentage are up to no good!
