Does anyone else feel the same?

Schools here start again Monday. This year the summer has gone by very fast.

Is it still warm where you are, or is it cooler now?

Greenwithenvy13 · 09/08/2025 17:39

Summer is never long enough for me. I would happily have summer all year round.

It’s really hot where I am today and forecast to remain so for a while.

It feels really summery today!

I’m in England so schools not back for another three weeks.

I don’t really mean weather wise, just in general…kids will be back at school in a few weeks 😔

Are you in England? It’s less than half way through the summer holidays here!

BBQBertha · 09/08/2025 17:38

Summer has come back today where we are!

Don’t worry, January is coming to balance it out 😖

It's beautiful here in Monmouthshire and forecast warm and dry for the next week . I don't know where you are but we are having the best Summer here and it's still ongoing . Long may it last 😊

Netcurtainnelly · 09/08/2025 17:35

Yes OP. Summer needs a speeding ticket, needs to slow down.

OrangeAxolotyl · 09/08/2025 17:27

It seems to me to have been a really long summer. It's been very warm and dry. As pp have said, next week is going to be hot again!

SolidarityCone · 09/08/2025 17:27

Nope, I’m waiting for a book to be released 2nd September, the summer cannot disappear soon enough! I could also do with some rain asap, it’s so dry.

StickChildNumberTwo · 09/08/2025 17:25

Back to school next week here (Scotland), and yes, it does seem to have sped away. Can't say I'm looking forward to getting everybody back into routine.

BlondieMuver · 09/08/2025 17:23

3 weeks of summer holidays here...
Weather is provided great this week!

foodtoorder · 09/08/2025 17:19

What? It's the 9th of August and more than a few weeks til schools go back.

Are you talking weather wise? Are you in the UK? Most areas forecast to be in the 20's for the next week.
