If that’s the case then why on earth was he allowed to work with children? Surely if you apply for a job working with children they have to do a CRB check at the very least?

If he already had a CBO it would show on the DBS check the nursery did, which you would like to think the nursery wouldn’t ignore that! Or he may of had a clean DBS got hired and then got the CBO.

edited to add just re read and he didn’t work there he wasn’t allowed near a nursery due to the CBO

Presumably the ‘hard time’ was cos he was in a men’s nick where he should be
