To think that white British/ American etcmen are just as much a threat to women as migrants?

I am not excusing grooming, paedophile sex rings and unmonitored immigration at all but I hate all these protests.
I know that my white male ex teacher is a sex offender. Not to mention the Epstein scandal.
Aibu to think that ALL men are a danger to women...not just men of different ethnicities/ religions etc?

If you're not capable of following the conversation, then you clearly have nothing to contribute to it.

You do understand, though. This is just more evasive dishonesty to avoid giving answers. I'd say I'm disappointed but it's exactly what I expect these days. One reason why I'm politically homeless.

You don't want change. You want to shout at people and perform. You'll be doing that for a long time, so that should make you happy.

I'm perfectly capable of following a conversation. You appear to not only be incapable of speaking with clarity but incapable of engaging with an argument.

Boris was busy with the Boris Wave as Carrie was on a full blown trans women are women campaign. Massive borrowing, massive spending and the state locking their entire population in their homes. If you want to argue that THAT was a right wing government then crack on but don't expect any more replies on this specific subject, its a waste of your time. More importantly its a waste of mine.

Boris wasn't the only Tory leader during the 14 years the government was in power. Immigration increased under the Tories and you're suggesting that because it did, they're not right wing. I agree that this line of argument is a waste of time.

Absolutely but as you know, it’s nothing but an excuse for them to be thugs. Same as Antifa - doesn’t mean the Gaza cause isn’t a worthy one, but yobbos always enjoy a riot and a chance to smash up public places.

Wow. Some people here really struggle talking about VAWG in the UK without turning it into a Culture War.

Stop it!

Speaking is statistics ( taken direct from here: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/offender-management-statistics-quarterly-january-to-march-2025 )

Interestingly in terms of ethnicity white males were still the most likely to be in prison followed by mainly European ones....

Will have to dig deeper to see if there is a breakdown of offences but either these men from misogynistic countries are getting away with it on a massive scale or they might not be the main problem and maybe we also need to look closer to home?

Offender management statistics quarterly: January to March 2025

Detailed quarterly statistics on offenders in custody (including offence groups, sentence lengths and nationalities), and quarterly statistics on prison receptions, prison releases, adjudications, licence recalls and offenders under probation supervisi...

I think women in the UK are at a higher risk of violence from men who come from countries where there are higher rates of violence against women.

Sadly this is what i worry about. Men who are raised in countries where by law women have few rights, believing women are lesser and can be legally subjugated, are likely to have a different view on how its ok to treat women. Extending to:

  • thinking a woman wearing revealing clothing is automatically a prostitute/asking for it
  • thinking it is acceptable for a man to hit his wife
  • believing a woman must always give her husband sex if he demands it
  • not understanding the concept of enthusiastic consent

Are you claiming that white British/ American - western men in general - don't hold those views?

If so, you haven't seen much of the Anglo Manosphere on the internet lately. Have you ever heard of Andrew Tate?

Why are we importing more sexual offenders? We have plenty of home grown.

Haha says the very same type of person who shuts down conversations about crime rates of other nationalities…. So by the far left logic, mentioning anything about white British men + crime is racist and far left! Sorry your comment doesn’t wash with me 😂

Yay, let's shut down the debate of how "some" men from certain cultures are 16 or 11 times more likely to rape, and how they are coming to a hotel near you sometime soon.

Let's just brush it under the carpet and pretend it isn't real.

Boris Johnson was also responsible for the massive increase in legal migration. I'm sure it was close to a million a year, or not far off it. Hardly a vote winner with his red wall, but there we are.

Of the people who did something worthy of being arrested, 2 in 5 were already known to be scum bags. Not particularly shocking, scum bags will behave like scum bags.

Lots of ordinary people are frequently participating in protests right now though, and this stat won't be used to dismiss their legitimate concerns. According to YouGov, which tends to skew left, 73% of people think immigration has been too high in the past 10 years. The left has well and truly lost this argument.

Most people in the country think immigration has been too high, including the left.🙄

VAWG is at epidemic proportions in NI and pretty shit across the rest of the UK. I wish people would spend as much energy tackling the cancer that is VAWG as they do co-opting the real plight of women and children into their culture wars.

So your answer is "misogynists are misogynists". Groundbreaking stuff.

Do you understand that this kind of evasive dishonesty is costing you support? (I'm still pissed off at you accusing me of saying the far right protects women when literally my first line to you was agreeing that they weaponise it.) As a wise woman once said, to assume that people rejecting left wing bullshit means they love right wing bullshit is to underestimate just how much bullshit there is.

People aren't stupid. You can't do anything about far right media outlets but this is the kind of crap that stops many people from seeing you as a viable alternative and you can do something about this.

I have no idea what you're talking about. What dishonesty? What viable alternative?

‘Government surveys reveal grim realities: the Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey (PDHS) reported that 47 per cent of respondents in 2012–2013 considered wife-beating justifiable — a figure that only slightly declined to 43pc by 2017–2018.

The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) 2023 data paints an even darker picture, showing that 85pc of married women in Pakistan experience physical or sexual violence — far higher than Bangladesh’s 53pc and India’s 29pc.

Islamabad-based gender and governance expert Fauzia Yazdani highlights how religious texts and traditions are often deliberately misinterpreted to justify abuse. Supporting Yazdani’s view, lawyer Bushra notes that women brave enough to seek justice frequently face defence attorneys citing selective Quranic verses to defend their husbands. “It’s not just disturbing — it’s deeply problematic,” Bushra said.’

What sort of attitude towards women and girls, are these women and girls surrounded by??

Does it disappear when these men travel across borders?

This is the story of Shanti: a young bride whose death from marital rape reveals how Pakistan’s women remain unprotected by both society and state, despite the law.

So the Tories are left?
