My 6 year old granddaughter loves it. Her singing is where I usually hear it. She is very cross that upcoming gig is minimum 12 years and her mum and auntie are going without her.

I love it - my two dc sang a Capella version this pm - they think they’re extras in pitch perfect.

love Chappell Roan too but think she has found the sudden mega stardom a huge transition.

red wine supernova is my favourite though - now that IS rude.

Is it any worse than Sabrina Carpenter really?

My 10 year old ds came home from school singing it about six weeks ago. It's been a constant ever since. He's been attempting to play it on his violin which is a plus because it's encouraging him to practice.

That's not really what it's about at all. It's about her move to California from the arsehole of nowhere and finding a gay bar where people can perform and be themselves. She says it is the first place she felt she could be herself and saw loads of other queer people in a safe space.

It's based on a real club called The Abbey. It's not at all about stripping but i see how people can infer that.

Yes, DD picked it up from a dance holiday camp and happily sings “pink pony club, dancing with the horses at the pink pony club”
