I love this song. It was playing in the M&S I went to earlier. Their playlist is great. I always find myself singing along.

My partner thought the lyrics were ..."your Dad's at the club". I had to point out that it's actually "you dance at the club"....😂 I like his version better.

I saw 2 girls with pink pony club T-shirts on yesterday one I know is 6 and the other was about 8 I wondered if their parents know what it’s about!

I thought you were going to complain about little girls merrily singing a song which is seems to be about being a stripper (this happened at our school disco). Song's based on a strip club. Not ideal song for 10/11yos but they seem to think it's about actual pink ponies!

No worse than some of the songs we used to sing to back in the 90s at school discos 🤣🤣🤣

it plays on the radio and my daughter loves it

but i absolutely love it - it’s so damn catchy!

I rarely feel this way about a song!

That's not really what it's about at all. It's about her move to California from the arsehole of nowhere and finding a gay bar where people can perform and be themselves. She says it is the first place she felt she could be herself and saw loads of other queer people in a safe space.

It's based on a real club called The Abbey. It's not at all about stripping but i see how people can infer that.

It probably is one of the catchiest songs in the last few years, that femininonatron song by the same artist is also pretty catchy!
