Just been away for a weekend with a male friend. During one conversation we got on about sex somehow, and he said he thought anything less than a two hour session is a waste of time. Good for him I suppose, but AIBU to think the majority of people would find this far too long and start planning their dinner? Before anyone says he’s trying to impress me or get me into bed, he’s not.

I doubt he meant 2 hrs of penetration which would be a big no from me

but me and DP can easily spend 2hrs+ on a session, kissing foreplay just exploring each other yeah a lazy morning/afternoon/evening we can be there for hours

I have a full time job. I do not have a child, and thank god if it means being chained to the beep of a washing machine all day every day (which for most of my parent friends, it clearly doesn’t.)

Well yes, if all sex consists of is one (or no) orgasm and then PIV for ages, I can see why many women wouldn't be interested in that.

There's a whole lot in between that can add to the enjoyment, surely...

I could just be out of step with a lot of women on this thread, mind - I would not have wanted to spend hours and hours in lovemaking sessions when my children were little/I was exhausted. They're grown up now and my time is my own.

i absolutely could not be arsed, if dh has a drink it takes him a bit longer and after about 15 min of penetration I have had enough. 20/30 min (inc foreplay ) is plenty
