To think a two hour sesh sounds hellish?

Just been away for a weekend with a male friend. During one conversation we got on about sex somehow, and he said he thought anything less than a two hour session is a waste of time.

Good for him I suppose, but AIBU to think the majority of people would find this far too long and start planning their dinner?

Before anyone says he’s trying to impress me or get me into bed, he’s not.

Why do men think sexual stamina is so important? I can’t imagine anything more tedious (or painful) than two hours of sex. I suppose there’s a small chance he’s talking about nearly two hours of foreplay followed by 10 minutes of penetration but I still don’t see the point.

I have unhappy memories of this, an all-night session of sighs, groans and moans, creaking floors with the bed shaking and banging off the wall, the electric fan cooling the air and all I wanted to do was go to sleep.
Not me, obvs, but the newly-together couple in the flat upstairs.

I ended up going outside at about 6 a.m. to escape out the noise and had to go to work after zero fking sleep.

We used to call them The Shaggers and if I was working late shifts, DH would sometimes greet me at the door with "it's ok, they've just finished" and it was the best news of the day.

Ahhh, the memories....... 🙃

No. I can't recall having just a single one for a long time before my now BF. He's a 'giver' and because he studied human biology - and has read every sex manual & women's magazines he could get hold of since aged 14 lolol - he's picked up a lot of information, tips and tricks. Gotta love the "Sheldon Cooper" type 😅
The 'wearing socks increases chances of orgasms' one I was skeptical about but it's true! He's also got zero ego about using toys. Despite not being able to live with him - he's in supported accommodation - we've done pretty well together over last seven years.

Obviously it doesn't have to be two hours non stop? Showering together, cuddling & fooling around, watching porn, toys, oral, the deed plus more, afterplay, round two perhaps? cuddles. Throw in snack or some fruit to keep energy levels up.
That could be a very pleasant afternoon or evening (I'm not into morning sex).
I doubt even in his early 20s my BF would've been up for two hours nonstop athletic penetration! Slow and steady perhaps now.
I've heard a previous flatmate and her girlfriend at it between 2am and 7.30am, so some people do have the stamina! 😳

I have a full time job. I do not have a child, and thank god if it means being chained to the beep of a washing machine all day every day (which for most of my parent friends, it clearly doesn’t.)

We’ve been together 18 years….there’s no need to explore-he knows exactly what makes me tick and vice versa.
