To think a two hour sesh sounds hellish?

Just been away for a weekend with a male friend. During one conversation we got on about sex somehow, and he said he thought anything less than a two hour session is a waste of time.

Good for him I suppose, but AIBU to think the majority of people would find this far too long and start planning their dinner?

Before anyone says he’s trying to impress me or get me into bed, he’s not.

He is not. There was more than just me there. Is he trying to shag all of us? Honestly, it’s so bizarre to be so sure about an opinion you’ve got of someone you’ve never met. It’s very odd.

Nice drip feed…next you’ll have just overheard the convo from a nearby table 😅

Odd to post on a chat forum asking for opinions and then slate people for having an opinion

Eh? 😂 Saturday nights on Mumsnet.

Well, he was. And he knows it won’t lead to sex. I can’t really see what he or I have done wrong.

Cool girl is a term used to insult women in relationships who are okay with their boyfriends and husbands behaving in a way they wouldn't like. He’s not my boyfriend or husband.

Edited

Talking to a man about sex? You Jezebel 😂

CountryQueen · 19/07/2025 22:52

You can be “cool girl” about anything. Including faux claiming your straight male friend is drinking wine and getting into sex talk without wondering at the back of his mind if it’ll lead to a shag.

Especially when you are aware you’ve told him you’re off to post about his alleged sexual stamina on mumsnet for lots of other women to discuss 🤣

Oh 100 he's bad in bed and most likely is addicted to porn being able to last that long is the process desensitisation and screams alarm bells it really is not a flex . He has clear issues with intimacy.

The OP was very clear that he wasn't talking about thrusting away for 2 hours, that he was including foreplay etc. I don't understand what about him saying he likes to enjoy sexual experiences means he's bad in bed and addicted to porn.

If we're spouting unsubstantiated bullshit, it's probably more likely that the people saying they'd get bored after twenty minutes are the ones who are bad in bed.

I was with someone for 3 years who drew it out like this. I got a bit stuck with him during the covid years. It was a major factor in me going off sex with him.

It really buggered up my knees actually.

😂 I went out with someone once he kept trying to go for ages and I got bored and he just kept at it alone. Wasn’t sure whether it was rude to excuse myself or what.

Well, wine was involved and ended up talking about sex sessions.

Can't say I'd be happy if my DP went away on holiday with the opposite sex where they drink and talk about their stamina, whilst sometimes sharing a room.

All sounds dodgy.

Well we’ll both have to make our peace with never being in a relationship with you.

I find it quite sad that you think having a bottle of wine on a break with your friend is dodgy though! Each to their own.

An hour!! Not sure to take from that that he was very good or very bad.

Well, he wasn't a man who thought one orgasm was sufficient, let's put it like that 😂

Goinggreymammy · 19/07/2025 23:04

Tell him he's doing it wrong! I find it hard to believe any partner would want to spend 2 hours having sex. People just don't have that kind of time on a regular basis. So he must not be having much sex!

What are you talking about? Cool girls acts are around being okay with their boyfriends doing things, are they not? Not about talking to your mate.

Honestly, he’s really not scouring Mumsnet seeing if he can find a thread about himself. I doubt he’d remember its name.

He has not ‘gone on’ about it. He’s mentioned it once in 15 years. What a bizarre way you think.

This is a scam

Just to give you a laugh 🤣 I was thinking you meant a drinking sesh by reading the title.

This reminds me a few years back when my OH's friend was telling us about his new gf. He boasted that she 'was riding my dick for an hour!' I mentally rolled my eyes when he proudly declared that. Like yeah of course she did! Either both of your bits would have been sore, or you have a problem ejaculating!
He does have a tendency to boast, he thinks we are impressed, but anything he tells us we take with a pinch of salt.
Personally, I would be bored of riding a dick for longer than 15 minutes tops.

WhatterySquash · 19/07/2025 22:08

This thread makes me feel better as my ex would want to shag for bloody ages (at least an hour) - I hated it, I was bored out of my mind and it put me off having sex at all. I would literally be planning dinners, making to do lists and pondering work stuff in my head. 5-minute quickie sounds ideal to me (though I’ve just stayed single as I can’t be arsed at all tbh)

MyWarmOchreHare · 19/07/2025 21:55

CountryQueen · 19/07/2025 21:51

When a bloke is not testing the waters for getting in your knickers, he tends not to go on about his 2 hour stamina fest.

You said he knows about the thread, he is aware we’re talking about his alleged sexual prowess. He’s reading it, hence the cool girl act.

Are you always so dense that you think I was referring to all men as opposed to this “stud”?

Are you so dense that you can’t see any reason as to why every man might not be trying to pull every woman they speak to?

No that sounds exhausting 😆

MyWarmOchreHare · 19/07/2025 21:47

Nikki75 · 19/07/2025 21:42

I couldn't be doing with that.. is this why he is single .
It's not normal or desirable .
It's because it takes him that long to get there honestly he might be lovely but that would be a problem for most I think .

Nah he's had long term, serious girlfriends, and none of them have ended because of this.
