can’t find a single thread on it. I’m shocked by this news and can’t believe no one’s talking about it.

Revealed: £7bn secret airlift as 18,500 Afghans are brought to Britain

Today after 23 months of being gagged, the Daily Mail can reveal the scheme to bring in thousands of Afghans, and how Parliament has been deliberately kept oblivious.

I read about if this afternoon but I’d never start a thread, especially about something like this which will become extremely ugly

That's the intention, sadly. Frankly, mn should take stuff like this down, its just political baiting, I don't on come here for this shite

There was an error about three years ago in disclosing the identity of Afghan people who had helped the British government and if the taliban had seen it those people and their families would have been in serious danger. So a notice was put n it to keep it secret until the people who were under threat could be brought to safety in the uk. A national newspaper was pressuring the current govt to release the information.

Another reason not to trust governments

One has to wonder what else has been and is being hidden.

I've just heard about it on the Radio 4 news at 5pm. It's indeed shocking, but nothing really surprises me anymore tbh.
