Absolute knob of the first order. He's a terrible commentator, talks continuous shite, and doesn't know how to use a microphone.
Why he is employed by the BBC is up there with the Bermuda Triangle as a Great Mystery of Our Time.
I can't stand him.

If I recall correctly he was brought up above a fish and chip shop and won a tennis scholarship to Millfield. Nothing middle class about his upbringing.

Good rule. But I'd spend most of the match wondering if I should use my 5 minutes now or if he'd say something even more stupid later and I would have wasted it.

We have a 5 minute rule in our house for use of bitching about the commentators (namely Andrew Castle, John Lloyd and Tracy Austin) and then shush, otherwise it dominates the entire match. Always happy to hear Andrew Cotter though.

He didn't apologise for what he did. He apologised for 'mispronouncing' her name in fact he repeatedly referred to her by a totally different name. He also waxed lyrical about her father from whom she is estranged. The most basic level of research would have told him this. If he is so intent on commenting on people in the audience (completely unnecessary anyway) he could at least act like a professional and get the information he is spouting correct.

And if he gets it wrong he should apologise for what he has actually done, i.e.be too damn lazy and incompetent to learn the woman's name before deciding to comment on her, rather than making up a 'mispronunciation' excuse.

Being snide to McEnroe the other day too. AC said that back in the day players only complained about line judges when they lost. If I was McEnroe I would have said "So that's every match for you, right?"

He got that right, Mcenroe was a terrible loser. He did his theatrics to put his opponents off.

Andrew Castle is such a useless twat. I remember complaining to the BBC once as his commentary was so ridiculously one sided and biased about one of his favourite players.

Im sure Andrew Cotter (the Scottish one) must hate sharing a first name and risk of confusion with that utter twat. He should let Olive and Mabel use him as a chew toy - but they’d probably spit him back out, the rancid little turd.

YABU to compare Ben Shephard with Andrew Castle! At least BS is easy on the eye and supposedly very nice. I’m not sure what Andrew Castle’s good qualities are.

Can't stand him. Never had. He boils my piss as a commentator as he talks rot. I remember when Murray lost in a semi final at Wimbledon and he said Murray would never amount to anything, his time was over and it was time to start putting energy into other players. He won Wimbledon like 2 years later, after losing in the final the year before. Idiot

Amadou plays for my team. We love him, and that was a great shut down. He even got a t shirt made. So rude of them, they come from different countries, play in different positions and don't look alike.
