Loud Long Fart

Aibu to be livid over this encounter?

I was shopping today and as I passed a man he let out a very loud and very long fart right as I was level with him in the aisle. There’s no way it was accidental as it sounded very forced.

Makes me think that some men just hate women and do things like this to make them feel uncomfortable.

It wasn't necessarily a targeted attack.

My mum once totally forgot her surroundings and let out a fart in the chilled aisle in Aldi. Although she at least had the grace to mumble "excuse me" before slinking away with her trolley 😂

You can tell it’s forced when it goes on for about 20 seconds at full volume when he’s right beside me in the aisle of a shop.

Is this the disappointing follow up business venture to the chain of shops that were called

Long Tall Sally ?

A guy farts in front of you so he hates women??

MN gets weirder by the day I swear.

Maybe he thought it was safe and would be a silent one? We have all been caught out by those sneaky bastards 😂

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 09/07/2025 17:26

Unless he had that scrunched up face of complete determination, how do you know it was 'obviously forced.' People fart. Walking along is prime exertion to bring on a fart. Do you think he was trying to fart at you, OP?* *

Dangermoo · 09/07/2025 17:24

Was it not one of those pooter videos? 😂

tumblingdowntherabbithole · 09/07/2025 17:20

How can you tell it was forced? Confused

BeachPossum · 09/07/2025 17:19

Genuinely quite impressed that you can tell by sound that a fart is forced. You've obviously got your ear in.
