Friend offended by my opinion

Friend is seeing someone who isn't her 'usual' type. Met him once. But I bumped into him when we went to a local bar in our hometown and he looked awful, and I did say to her 'does it not bother you that he goes out to a nice bar in oversized cargos and an adidas zip up jumper and doesn't make an effort for you and I think she found it quite offensive, but he looked an absolute state...

Well yeah that's just objectively rude and also a stupid thing to say, loads of people go to bars in cargos and hoodies, not like he was wearing a bin liner in the Savoy is it?

"I said something rude, bitchy and judgemental to my friend and she's upset for some reason? What did I do wrong?" like surely you're not actually this socially inept?
