To be sick of men?

Rather lighthearted, but with an air of seriousness.

I've just been on a flight back to the north of England from sunny climes. On the flight at least three men near me were sniffing with such force, I could hear the contents of their noses. One sounded like a sick pig each time he snorted inwards.

I rarely hear women sniff. All these men had women with them. If I had a man who did this, I know I'd have to tell him in a nice way to use a tissue and to stfu. Skanky men folk is why I'm forever single.

I’m just back from Spain (just this morning). The latter part of my 5 day break was an absolute write off, thanks to the man who was coughing his guts up right beside me on the outbound plane.
I mean at least wear a mask, FFS!
I haven’t been this unwell in a long, long time.

I hate this. Staff should ask unwell people to mask up or get off. Flight to Egypt last year, a disgusting man was visibly ill & he spent the flight coughing & sneezing without covering his mouth. Lost most of a 10 day holiday because of him. Still makes me angry thinking about it.

You should have commandeered the PA and made an announcement about any men making gargantuan sniffing noises spending the rest of the flight tied to the wing.

It is actually astonishingly irritating, when you look at gendered socialisation, and the difference for men who were never told as little boys not to sniff audibly, leg spread, guffaw.

Ha ha ha. It was tempting.

I wonder if you were on my flight back. I returned back to the country from Andalucía this morning!

Oh legs spread too because they need the room for their gigantic bollocks and penis. Yep. Glad I'm single.

There was several women sniffing away on the train I was on this morning.
Also one making a very loud phone call, one watching something on her phone very loud, one stood in a random place in the aisle getting in everyone's way even though there were seats and one with a manky dog that was sniffing people's bags.
Anti social behaviour on public transport isn't a man thing.

It's horrendous on the tube as well, I'm tempted to start carrying packets of tissues and offer them to these men.

YANBU. I hate this too. But to be fair,I have noticed a few women doing this too, usually when they're sat next to me on a bus. 🤢
