I'm Scottish born too - although most of life in England.

I think he's very non conformist so would have been a bit of a cheeky terror at school. I remember bits of the documentary and felt that pressure on him unchecked. Like Avicci and Amy Winehouse. Horrible industry.

I was getting teary watching Glastonbury return. I think a few people in the crowd were getting upset so it set me off 😆.

I'm sick of all the darkness and arseholes on TV and he really pulls me out of it.

I cant get through a song of his without crying. His voice just speaks to my soul, he is everything! Im am going to try and get tickets for Birmingham or failing that Manchester but im already at a gig in Liverpool for Deacon Blue the night before his Manchester date so tight but doable!

I love him - his voice, his attitude, the way he deals with things. There aren’t many good role models for kids but I think he’s one. Really hoping for tickets to see him - we’d booked the last time round but it was just after Glastonbury so it was cancelled.

Couldn’t believe the documentary about him though, he was clearly deteriorating mentally and no one around him seemed to give a fxxx
was obvious the team around him just see him as the golden goose, same as Robbie Williams experienced. It’s really sad.

The musician effect is real. I doubt anyone would be gushing over him if he worked in McDonald's 😁

Edited to add that thats not to say he isn't an incredible person that seems genuine and funny. Just that not as many people would consider him sexy.

He just seems so authentic, which in his business is a rare commodity. He's someone I'd like to sit and have a drink with as I think he'd be great company, just a genuinely nice guy
