Where are the trans men?

BlueandPinkSwan · 27/06/2025 12:11

Just that really, we are always hearing about men wanting to 'become women'. Phycially, mentally and emotionally impossible, but why aren't women rushing to do the same thing in reverse?
Just interested to know as I'm gender critical, and hate the patriarcal society we live in.
Is it because men wouldn't accept it as a trans man being part of their tribe but women are forced to put up with trans women invading /trying to enter into woman only spaces?

there are trans men

but they do not carry female entitlement towards men

also I suspect many trans women it’s a kink and getting attention is part of their kink

The steaming hatred towards transgender women. On full display.

From a group of women who most likely have never even met a transgender person, but who for some reason feel persecuted by them and deeply oppressed by their very existence. Women who spend hours and hours searching out and sharing stories about crimes involving transgender women.

Transphobia is a mental illness.

I am so bored of people with no arguments screaming "hatred".

I don't hate anyone. I just believe being female has consequences and that is why we have female-only protections and opportunities, and that whatever trans women may feel themselves to be on the inside, it is not the same thing as being female and so it does not justify removing female-only rights and protections, or undefining female-specific language.

But maybe I'm wrong.

If you can explain to me what it is that I, a female person, have in common with trans women but no other men that is so fundamental that it overrides the differences in our sex and the different physical and social consequences we face because of those differences, in a way that means all the history of sexiam that we have faced because of our bodies is no longer significant, a thing I can recognise as true of myself, I would entirely accept this is real.

Can you?

Honestly it's an obsession of so called feminists on here. While they ignore the actual threats to women. Such as the growing power of fundamental Christians and the alt right trad wife/ modesty shites

I think several MNers would embrace a Handmaid's Tale version of life tbh. They can then actively shame women who step out of line, who don't conform to their ideas of modesty and sisterhood.

Yawn. Come up with a decent reason why men should be able to go into women’s spaces, sports, rape counselling sessions based on an inner feeling.

It’s men. Problematic men.

To answer your point about actually meeting an transwoman (another bingo!). One is a distant colleague, seems quite nice, knew instantly they were trans despite everyone in the same uniform. The other was in a cell punching my colleague with his dick out and calling me stuff that I’ve never been called by a woman funnily enough. I’ve met nice men and bad men, I’ve met nice women and bad women.

Oh yes, years of stories about women being harassed and shamed and made to feel vulnerable because of antitrans feeling, by both men and women, is just another reason men are bad

😒

I give up

You are actively saying its ok for women to harass other women because of "the men"

Why do you think it's acceptable to men to enter into women's spaces?

There are 2 options...

  1. people challenge (ideally politely) people who appear to be entering the wrong toilet/changing room etc
  2. people decide its none of their business who uses which space.

With #1 there will inevitably be false positives and false negatives.

But if you pick #2, then you lose the right to tell absolutely any male they are in the wrong space. We get to the point when every perv knows they can hang out in women's changing rooms and leer all day long, because it's none of anyone else's business which room they're in.

I'm for option 1.

Just because it doesn't bother you to get accused of being a man (and I suspect that if it actually happened then you'd be very upset and hurt) doesn't mean it doesn't happen and it isn't distressing. This isn't even all the news reports or comments from biological women who have been harassed and bullied because they don't conform.

Gender policing actively harms women. Congratulations on supporting a regime which is harmful to women. Well done for standing up for all those women. You did so well....

Console yourselves that all those nasty "men" have been stopped from entering a bathroom, which they could have done anyway

You’ve selected articles from biased websites 😂. The Metro, The Guardian. You’ve only missed out Pink News! As soon as I saw ‘cis’ in the headline my eyes nearly stuck at the back of my head.

Why would it bother me? I know I’m a woman, no
matter how I present. As stated, AGAIN, humans have been able to correctly sex another human from the beginning of time, despite ‘dress’.

The irony is so lost on you. Trans ideology actively harms women. Men saying they are women because they like to present in ways stereotypically associated with women. Why do they wear skirts, dresses, high heels and make up? Out of those things I only wear make up. Am I less of a woman then?

For the (third is it?) time, how does a man become a woman? Actually don’t bother, your comprehension so far and crap engagement doesn’t fill me with confidence.

Yes, I am happy that men can no longer say they have the right to go into women’s bathrooms to
name one. Crap men will go in anyway, but good men stay out so bad men stand out. The ‘but it’ll happen anyway’ - another one for the TRA bingo card - is not a reason to do away with safeguarding measures. Kind of like a burglar is going to burgle you anyway (and you’re statistically unlikely to get burgled in your lifetime), you still lock your door, have alarms and ring door bells and the like.

Im bored now arguing with people who vehemently defend something they can’t explain or define. I’m away back to the comfort of reality island. Educate yourself on what bigotry actually is.

So he's hitting men...

You referred to "a male boxer" if you meant a female boxer perhaps you should have been clearer.

DownWhichOfLate · 28/06/2025 22:04

A situation men have created by trying to force their way in to women’s space. And goes to show how strongly women feel about keeping men out. Women have to fight so hard, don’t they? Why make it easier for men?

Cis Woman Mistaken as Transgender Records Being Berated in Bathroom

She stayed cool, calm, and collected as she recorded a stranger's demand that she identify her gender.

When you only have an issue with transwomen it's clear what your issue is

Transwomen are targeted because they are being used as scapegoats. Everyone argue about transwomen and ignore the real issues.

You are literally dismissing the documented issues of women who aren't considered "feminine enough".

And what I said was the opposite of "wearing a dress makes you a woman"

My issue is boundary pushing men. It’s there in black and white. I couldn’t be clearer. Transwomen are included in this as they are male. I’ve read a few accounts of transwomen who know fine well they are male and don’t use women spaces. All power to them.

Im all for women presenting as however they see fit, that’s what being GC is. Critical of gender, which is a made up concept. I don’t believe though that you can’t tell the sex of a non gender conforming masculine looking woman, up close and personal and again, as I’ve already stated, I don’t believe all these non gender conforming women are being accosted in droves as stated by TRA’s.

If I presented in such a way and I got accused of being a male in say a women’s bathroom it wouldn’t bother me one iota. I’d be pleased they were sticking up for their sex based rights.

So explain then how a man becomes a woman?

Sabire9 · 28/06/2025 21:34

@spirit20 I'm 58. I remember when homophobia was less unfashionable than it is now, when stories about gay men/women coming on to straight men and women, and how embarrassing and horrible that was, were common currency among straight people. Times have changed, but the pleasure of trashing minority groups hasn't.

You sound unhinged. I have a problem with boundary pushing men. I don’t have a problem with non-boundary pushing men. I know lots of lovely men. My stance would not change if any of them turned round tomorrow and said they were ‘a woman’. Fancy having a bash explaining on how a man turns into a woman?

Yet again, if you actually read anything rather than trying to reach your quota of how many times you can post ‘hate’ you see that if men have a problem with biological females in their sports I’m sure they’ll say. I don’t care how long trans women have been in female sports. It’s unfair and the tide is turning on that stance.

Humans have been able to correctly sex a person since the beginning of time. All these non gender conforming masculine looking women now facing problems is bollocks (pun intended). My exes auntie looks more like Keith Chegwin (probably before your time) than Keith Chegwin does, it’s clear she’s a woman up close and personal and the minute she opens her mouth.

It’s gross and misogynistic to dress in a regressive sex stereotypical way (dress, make up, heels) and say that makes you a woman!!

Ha I wish I was a bot and not having to read this regressive, straight from Reddit bullshit.

A small minority of transmen invade spaces etc. but if you're a straight cis woman, you're not likely to experience or hear of it, because it's generally the spaces of gay men.

I'm part of a LGBT+ group in London where we've had a number of incidents over recent years of transmen behaving inappropriately towards gay men, mainly in changing rooms after fitness classes, by acting in a manner that wouldn't be acceptable by another gay man. It's actually really bizarre, as some of the behaviour was such that no 'nontrans' woman would ever behave similarly to a straight man - it's as if they had a very warped view of how gay men act.

No you are openly admitting you have an issue with men

Transmen exist in men's sport too. Transwomen in sport goes back to the 1970s BTW, it's not a new topic.

Using "pass" is fucking gross and misogynistic because it literally causes issues for biological women who don't fit the socially acceptable look of women. Actual, biological women have been harassed in toilets because they don't look "feminine" enough and have been accused of being men. But I'm only supporting men right?

You are the disgusting bigot, seeking to dismiss people's experiences and actively harming women...

While I agree on the use of "passing", it's also worth noting that someone can only say "they rarely pass", because the ones that do, do. So you don't know they are trans. So it's a shit argument anyway.

Firstly - transgender people are split roughly 50/50 between transgender women and transgender men.

Secondly - wtf has that got to do with the question I asked?

Nobody is shouting at you. I don't support anyone shouting at anyone.

I asked you why it was 'grim' for people to live their lives in such a way that they feel they're being true to their gender identity, when that gender identity is not concomitant with their sex. You come back with a comment about people shouting at women to 'shut up'. Do you know what demagoguery is? You're engaging in it in your posts on this subject, because you can't engage with the humanity of transgender people.

BTW - 'bigotry' means a person who is :obstinately attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic towards a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group". You absolutely are antagonistic towards transgender women and anyone who supports them. Antagonistic to them as individuals BECAUSE they belong to a group. You ARE 'bigoted'.

So anyone who doesn’t agree with you is bigoted? No point in engaging further, is there? I won’t ever agree at TWAW, and you are determined they are. Ultimately, to me, a woman is based in biology. No idea what you think one is, and I doubt you could articulate it. I suppose if you can redefine woman / man, you can certainly redefine bigot.
