That is strange though. There is a Water Lilies in review at the moment. But the image in that link is from a current Lego Ideas submission still being voted on, with 6k votes. So it’s definitely not that one.

Ooh, no. Not the VG sunflowers - these are the Botanic ones that go in a vase. 🌻 They'd probably go really well with the picture. Due 1st March.

@JoshLymanSwagger TheVan Gogh Sunflowers was my very first Lego attempt last year. It’s really beautiful. I finally ordered the plexiglass frame for it this week and it’s just arrived this morning. It will save a LOT of dusting!!

I ordered the Sunflowers, they're due in March. My Van Gogh is arriving today. 😁

Just found that there's a new Orange version of the Tuxedo Cat available from March...😻

DH is going to have a fit soon - especially when he sees my cc bill. 😂

@JoshLymanSwagger I try and stick to 500 piece or less jigsaws and like the boxed sets of 2 or 4 x 500 good quality eg Gibsons
Recently I’ve been given some of the Instagram wooden ones - just done these which were fun

Oh, forgot to say - there's a set of Sunflowers that must have been added to the Lego website overnight.
I really will buy those - and the tulips, and probably the cherry blossom...🌻🌷🌺

@JaceLancs What types of Jigsaws do you do? I have a wardrobe or two busting collection of Wasgij. 😁
I think I'd have built the little ginger cat - mine is (bigger) currently asleep on the dining room table (it has a duvet and fleecy blanket on it and is next to a big radiator) which we only use for Lego and jigsaws. 😺

I'm drumming my fingers waiting for my 2 x parcels to be dispatched...🤦🏻‍♀️

I follow the Instagram account of jackanddadmusic. Jack is a 15yo boy with autism whose loves are singing and lego. The regular posts show Jack singing while he constructs lego, with dad accompanying him on guitar. One of the recent posts shows Jack's ENORMOUS Lego collection that fills every corner of the house!
Can highly recommend.

I've not done any of the floral kits, but the tulips and the cherry blossom are very tempting. Spring is my favourite season for flowers, but having 2 indoor only cats that would stupidly try to kill themselves by eating a daffodil means I can't have cut flowers or indoor plants any more.

@JoshLymanSwagger the only reason I didn’t buy the tulips was I had a sudden thought that DS who is a bargain hunter might have seen them on offer and bought them in advance for my birthday or Mother’s Day

The small/smaller sets often feel like very good value for money. Some of the GWPs are amazing and great fun to build.

It’s a lovely set to build and so pretty when done. The smaller sets are really good I find. I love these sets that are coming out now. I loved making the daisies and hope for more sets like this. I’ve taken advantage of the double points and GWP today (on Lego website). I’m going to save my points up this year and put it towards another Lego set. I’m going to look out for other Lego insiders weekends and GWP

The Love Letters were a really nice build. Smyths have good offers on because Lego has double points and a GWP. I’ve noticed that when Lego has offers then other retailers put some sets on sale. I’m
collecting points and wanted the GWP so I was happy to pay a few pounds more to buy from Lego and get it delivered. Smyths have free delivery over £25 which is good. Lego is a £50 spend for free delivery. A trip to the shops always costs me bus or train fare plus a drink and food so again it’s better for me to get sets delivered.

@JaceLancs Why didn't you get the tulips? (eta, sorry, but I'd have bought them - full price seems a bit steep to me)

I managed to find the Japanese picture in Smyths today - nearly bought the tulips too as they were cheaper than from Lego

Nice to window shop. They do a Lego version of a Lego shop, it’s a really nice set

I bought the Tuxedo cat in store and a couple of sets for my Niece and Nephew at my last visit to the Lego store. Agree sets can be heavy to carry. So much easier to buy online.

I only usually buy smaller sets in store. I did get the Ninjago city workshops and Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship in store and my god they were so heavy to carry back up to the train station then up home. The Ninjago one I bought before getting Ds from school so that was extra hard work. Most sets are ordered online and delivered.
