I’ll preempt this with I am not on any side in the current conflict.

Israel launched the war on Iran whilst Iran and the US were discussing their nuclear infrastructure in a very succesful bud to end those talks. The Israli government have used their sleeper agents to assassinate military leaders, scientists etc. Whilst doing so they have killed those people's neighbours, flattening apartment buildings.

Nothing, they were evacuated, the aim was to destroy the sites to stop the enrichment. The sites were deep in the ground and only the US has the bombs capable and the plan capable to deliver the bomb hence why it makes sense.

Trump tried and tried to negotiate with Iran and they kept stalling and being difficult while continuing to build their nuclear capabilities.

I also don't get why this is the point you can't take or, all the fighting and killing before this you could take it but now you suddenly can't take it?

Whatever support they offer will eg be offering refuge to the fleeing regime but they will not attack the US in retaliation for Iran. Iran is very very weak now and frankly isn't worth it for China to get into a direct conflict with the US.

Iran also defended on terrorist groups like hezbollah Hamas and Houthis who they sponsored and those organizations have also been weakened by Israel attacking them and the US attacking the Houthis to stop them attacking commercials ships on the red sea, including British ships I might add.

These groups came about as a result of regional conflicts, including occupation and foreign interventions. You may fear those proxies more than Israel but I think Trump acting on the behest of Netanyahu and his extreme far right coalition makes me more fearful. Israel did not want Iran sitting down with the US. You have a coalition that is racist and ultranationalist who violate international law and basic human rights — including the ongoing siege of Gaza and expansion of illegal settlements. These aren’t just reactions to terror threats it’s deliberate long-term strategies. For me looking at what the US has done in the Middle East previously they have created more terrorism and destabilisation than bring the region to long term stability and peace. Ultimately it’s all about doing what Israel tells them to do - simple as that for me and making more money for the arms industry. Any consequence will be oh look Iran has bombed is they’re the bad guys.

It is likely the US chose those sites as they knew there was nothing dangerous there in terms of active nuclear material so no radioactive fallout or global backlash. The BS about this making Israel or US safer is crap. Iran will respond just like any country in its position if it were attacked like this especially before waiting for negotiations to take place. When Iran responds Israel and by default US will say “Look, Iran is attacking us,” to then justify further aggression. It’s a provocation disguised as self-defence. The world is not a safer place despite the BS of corrupt and morally bankrupt leaders like Trump and Netanyahu.
