Iran will come back with something because they have to, they will not be shown to be weak.
Otherwise they are left open for anyone to just bomb them.

For those saying Good etc…
Im sorry but you arent glued up about what this can be the start of

You cant just go into a country because they have nuclear weapons. We have them, would it be ok for another country to do that to us, or the USA, or France, Pakistan, India, North Korea etc? No, and it would not be tolerated either

China & North Korea on the side of Iran.
As well as Pakistan so they can easily get ships, planes and air defences from those countries

This could be the start of something HUGE

TRUMP saying - Now time for PEACE
is rubbish - He wants to be a wartime president and go down in History and he knows what this is going to cause

USA targets will be hit in relation either a warship or a US airbase (in the middle east)

This isnt peace - This is just the start

Edited

Trump wants war because once the US is at war, there cannot be an election! Time and time again he has said he won’t leave the White House and this is the only way he can legitimately stay!

It's at 3:00 a.m. our time. I expect he'll be boasting as usual about the biggest bombs and so on!

He boasted about his 'big, beautiful planes"!

Viviennemary · 22/06/2025 05:22

Iran developing nuclear weapons is a bad thing. How can anybody think it's a good thing. Whether this is the best way of dealing with it is another question. Still better than hand wringing once the weapon exists or worst still used.

It's WMD all over again.

Let's hope PM Starmer keeps us the fuck out of it. Not our circus, not our monkeys.

You remember the way Starmer scrambled to pick up Trump’s dropped papers the other day?

Reminds me of the time Bush summoned Tony Blair with a “Yo Blair”

We’re their lackeys. We’re in.

Im not really sure why everyone is sticking up for Isreal, Just because what happened to them in the past
Benjamin Netanyahu and Isreal’s former defence minister were issued with warrants for war crimes in 2024

I think everyone seems to forget this
He is no better than Putin

Everyone is not sticking up for Israel.

If it looks like a dog, acts like a dog and wags its tail like a dog, it is a dog.

Therefore, many, many people can see that the Israeli government led by Nethanyahu, is a rogue, warmongering government with no morals or humanity left, who started an illegal war. It has been itching to launch a direct full scale attack on Iran for many many years and when the prize idiot Trump got into power with his MAGA and Christian fundamentalist base, believed it had a green light to do so. And sure enough Trump, with his obsequious, self serving supplicants he has surrounded himself with, has backed Israel despite their war crimes that the world's populations clearly see.

And hey ho, again Netanyahu avails himself of another opportunity to delay his day of reckoning in court to face corruption charges, even if it means his country's reputation is in tatters, there is conflagration in the Middle East and the world is a left safe place, not more safe because of his actions. But in his mind that's alright so long as he calculates that for one Israeli life, tens of thousands of another countries lives will be lost so that's okay.

It's not. I shouldn't have to say that, but unfortunately, Israel's and Trump's hardened supporters will try and justify the unjustifiable.

@AnnaQuayInTheUk

I didnt say they cant comment

I said i ‘personally’ refuse to talk to someone who is saying ‘that wont happen because i think blah blah’
When it has already been said by these countries

We were talking about FACTS and TRUTH
Things that has been STATED by these countries already

And i have a right to refuse to engage with a particular poster if i so wish

BlackCoffeeAndSugar · 22/06/2025 04:45

It is likely the US chose those sites as they knew there was nothing dangerous there in terms of active nuclear material so no radioactive fallout or global backlash. The BS about this making Israel or US safer is crap. Iran will respond just like any country in its position if it were attacked like this especially before waiting for negotiations to take place. When Iran responds Israel and by default US will say “Look, Iran is attacking us,” to then justify further aggression. It’s a provocation disguised as self-defence. The world is not a safer place despite the BS of corrupt and morally bankrupt leaders like Trump and Netanyahu.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Aren’t Iran continually sending missles into Israel - didn’t they fund the October 7 attacks?

I know they fired on Israel after Israel fired on them some weeks ago.

As for who funded October 7th? Netenyahu has already admitted arming terrorists in Gaza. Iran has done similar. More reason for America to stay out of it. After all Trump campaigned on keeping the US out of foreign wars, specifically those in the Middle East.

All we can hope is that the UK doesn't join the shitshow.

AnnaQuayInTheUk · 22/06/2025 04:12

What on earth do you mean @Theshsmpoo ? @PoopingAllTheWay has as much right to comment as anyone else, and is making a valid point.

Tulsi never even said publicly that Iran was not close, go watch her confirmation hearing in Congress she terrified that they were close so it makes no sense for her to claim they are not now and it's just some publications that claimed she said it online when there is no proof she did. Go on send me a video or a quote from Tulsi saying otherwise.

This sounds like something a Catherine Tate character would say. Or maybe Matt Lucas.

On March 26, 2025, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard delivered opening remarks at a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence hearing for the Annual Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Community. The complete opening statement is linked below and this is what she said about Iran:

Iran continues to seek to expand its influence in the Middle East, despite the degradation to its proxies and defenses during the Gaza conflict. Iran has developed and maintains ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and UAVs, including systems capable of striking U.S. targets and allies in the region. They’ve shown a willingness to use these weapons, including during a 2020 attack on US forces in Iraq and in attacks against Israel in April and October 2024. Iran’s cyber operations and capabilities also present a serious threat to U.S. networks and data. The IC continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme leader Khomeini has not authorized the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in 2003. We continue to monitor closely if Tehran decides to reauthorize its nuclear weapons program. In the past year, we’ve seen an erosion of a decades long taboo in Iran on discussing nuclear weapons in public likely emboldening nuclear weapons advocates within Iran’s decision-making apparatus. Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile is at its highest levels and is unprecedented for a state without nuclear weapons. Iran will likely continue efforts to counter Israel and press for U.S. military withdrawal from the region by aiding, arming, and helping to reconstitute its loose consortium of like-minded terrorists, actors, which it refers to as its “Axis of Resistance.” Although weakened, this collection of actors still presents a wide range of threats including to Israel’s population, U.S. forces deployed in Iraq and Syria, as well as U.S. and international military and commercial shipping and transit.

Yes, Iran have attacked Israel since April 2024, so over a year.

A country cant just bomb another country because they have nuclear weapons
We have them, the USA have them, France, Pakistan, India, North Korea, Russia

It is not acceptable to just cross into another countries territory and bomb them

Imagine if a country had done that to France or us, We wouldnt put up with that

Sadly, this will not end well

You don't have to comment you know.

It’s all about who is deemed stable enough to have them.

Unfortunately that changes.Russia being a prime example, Gorbachev encouraged glasnost, openness with the West. . Putin has effectively resumed hostilities between Russia and the West even before the war with Ukraine.

TooBigForMyBoots · 22/06/2025 03:56

I love how you ignored my proof of steps he took for peace...

Trump hasn't taken any steps towards peace. Since he came to office, all he's done is create instability. Domestically and internationally. Even within the WH itself.

Righteo · 22/06/2025 03:53

TooBigForMyBoots · 22/06/2025 03:16

Tell me, who directly attacked who?

Israel attacked Iran.

Sorry, I put it as a rhetorical question.

Yes, Israel attacked Iran.

It was laughable, when the Israeli government complained that Iran was attacking them back and must stop or they will continue to attack Iran.

It seems that bullies, whether playground ones or rogue states appear to be shocked when their victim won't lie down and take it.

The actions of Netanyahu's and Trump's governments are far worse than Iran's government.

Israel and the US are supposed to be democratic governments upholding human rights.

Every day we get to know the true nature of the beasts in charge if those governments.

Hopefully their citizens will one day wake up and see the danger before it's too late.

Otherwise, the world will continue to become more lawless as international rules are torn up and burnt. Meaning any country can do what it likes to another so long as it has enough weapons and like minded allies who will hear no evil, speak no evil and see no evil, when it's staring them right in the face and broadcast on TV.

Well I’m not sticking up for anyone.

However some people think Blair committed war crimes when he attacked Iraq, he’s never been tried though. Over 940000 deaths due to the war after 9/11. My ndn’s db being one of them when the military plane he was in was brought down.

WTF? Are you asking me to prove a negative? With internet video evidence? Have you lost your mind?

Iran has been bombed by the US because they pose a real and imminent nuclear threat?

No. Iran has been bombed by the US because Netenyahu manipulated Trump, thick cunt that he is, into it. Not because Iran was a nuclear threat.

I can't take you seriously.

He's a demented fool. Not content with destabilising the world economy with his toddler like approach to tariffs Putin's delusional lapdog who thinks America won WW2 single handedly now appears to have an itchy trigger finger with for WW3.

It beggars belief anyone in their right mind could support him.

Fortunately his own supporters are turning against him in droves. It can't happen soon enough for the safety of mankind.

😂 😆 in droves, ok.

Yeah he started WWIII, I love how you ignored my proof of steps he took for peace yet keep making your outrageous ridiculous claims 😂 😆

Pick each point I made and tell me which one is wrong? Did he push for peace between Pakistan and India or not? Did he help resolve a long running conflict between Rwanda and Congo or not, did he reach out to Iran for peace talks which they messed up or no?

Go on tell me which one is false????
