To burn the villa down

We’re staying in a villa in a hillside villa in Cyprus - DH (thank fucking god it was him and not me) went in to top our drinks up and a fucking tarantula was sat in the kitchen. He managed to catch it in the pool net but I am totally freaking out.

2 species. We’ve been here so many times and only ever seen lizards and giant bats. Have seen several reports of them being seen a lot this summer but I am SO glad it was his round. Unbeknown to me,I stood at the door giving him my drink recipe, not having any idea of it being there.

No pics, DH just wanted to get it out. I was too busy crying and shivering. DH is happy for the huge house spiders to run around in the uk but he was like this has to go.
