How you would feel after 5 x 2 unit cans?

This isn’t a question for those who are t/total/don’t drink at all, because obviously it’s an irrelevant question as your body doesn’t process alcohol, so the answers will be completely moot

Anyone else crack away….

Would it make you feel drunk, a bit tipsy, totally tipsy, totally fine…

Say over about 3 hours

I'd find it hard to drink that much due to needing the toilet all the time and it's just a lot of liquid to knock back in one session. But I do occasionally have that much if I get carried away on after work drinks or a camping weekend. Generally feel OK; bit tipsy and hungry. But I don't sleep great after drinking so the next day I'd be awake early and feeling the effects by lunchtime.

I could be a bit merry but perfectly with it, or I could be drunk enough not to remember how I got home.

My stomach would feel all sloshy and rank after that volume of liquid.
I’d be drunk but not hammered.

I’d be feeling quite tipsy but not drunk (although I’d probably still end up with a stinking hangover the next day).

Over 3hrs? I'd feel perfectly fine. I drink pints of Bud Light in the pub and they are 1.8 units per pint. When on an adults only night with DH I can have 3 pints in 1.5hrs so half an hour to drink each one.

However if I were to have 3 pints in 30 mins I'd be pissed.

My sweet spot is 2 to maybe 6 units, which makes me I feel happy tipsy. More than that and I will quickly get nauseous and headachey, so I can't really get properly drunk drunk.

I recently gave up drinking but I was v much a binge drinker and 10 units over 3 hours wouldn't have much of an impact on me at all

I’d be pretty drunk on that. I could drink that much and be ok but I don’t like being that drunk any more. A couple of cans over an hour or so would suit me then I’d move onto soft drinks.

10 units, so just less than a bottle of wine. I'd be pretty hammered, able to get myself to bed but we'll beyond tipsy.

Am I being thick? (or are you?! 😳😂) but if Guinness is 1.8 units then x 3 cans is only 5.4 units so you’d need 5 cans to experience just under 10 units…

I would be fine but I drink a bottle of wine every night so my body is used to alcohol (and probably ruined thanks to it).

Drunk. I had 8 units the other night and to my shame I actually got sick. Younger me could go all night long, I'm almost 40 and now I'm a total lightweight.

So about the same as a bottle of wine? Depends. 3 hours is quite a long time. Any food to soak it up? Or water to rehydrate? Tipsy I suppose. Or sleepy.
